Couldn’t someone have asked the farmer to pass his flail mower over his field first?

Wow! Some great talent over here. I love seeing the awesome runs and break aways, more of an attacking and flair type of play. Although, I feel that against this England squad, we could have dominated them either way. Through flair and pace or through power...we did good on the driving mauls although I feel that they should work on bettering their maul drive execution and it could've been utilised much more throughout the game as we had a stronger forward pack IMO just based on the highlight review.
The defence play needs a lot of work We need players to show a bit more enthusiasm and drive when it comes to the defensive play, make your tackle, get up faster and build the line back up again, hold the defensive line, be conscious and vocal on the field, cover the gaps within the defensive line...becoming masters at getting the basics right with perfect execution. I think we will be a force to be reconned with.
You can definitely see shades of the National team in this under 18 squad and I love that. I also love how they play with a bit more flair than the National team lol we really have depth in player selection and grooming future rugby talent. Proudly RSA!

What many don't realise is that despite both being classed as U18's the 2 teams are different ages. Because the Saffa school year runs Jan -Dec and the rugby season March to September, this event comes after Craven week at the end of the SA teams U18 season. To qualify, the players had to be under 18 on the 1st of January 2023. For the English and the French, who were also involved, the school year runs Sept-Aug and the rugby season sept-April. This is a pre-season tour for them and to qualify, they had to be under 18 on the 1st September 2023.
Because of the mismatched school years and rugby seasons, this has been an issue at all these events.

What is funny to me is that Sisilia Tuipulotu plays for Wales, Sione Tuipulotu plays for Scotland, Kepu T is representing England…
but there is a different Sione Tuipulotu who plays for Tonga having played under 20s for Samoa and plays club rugby in NZ.
They are everywhere! I’m not sure if/ how they are related but the Tuilagis
they seem to play for various nations. Rugby’s warrior mercenaries, I don’t care how they qualify, they were born to play this game! 😂
