I’ve only gotten into Smash Bros. Lawl recently, and so far this looks pretty god damn hype! For a Smash parody that was probably started as a joke “what-if” series by Chin, this legit has tons of effort to feel like a proper Smash game! The new stages look pretty good (especially Irate Gamer’s stage, which almost seems to be made not-fun on purpose) and the menu has a weird hand-drawn/clean computer art style that both clashes and kinda works at the same time. Also, as someone who will probably be streaming this game a lot, having the option to turn off copyrighted music is god damn *genius.* Can’t wait to play it!
Ooooooh this is so much hype! The Unity switch must have helped a lot because the stages look beautiful! The inclusion of Stage Alts is a great idea too, with Night-Time Daten City being my favourite. Can't wait to play the demo once it comes out. Also the new characters for Lawl Demic are also interesting in general, I am mainly hyped for Akko and the silhouette.
Alright, this is really looking more like a legit fighter, what with the option select, revamped stages (luv the night alts. btw, that shit looks gorgeous), new stages, plus other things to toy with. The new additions also look terrific, with favorites being Akko, Best Loner Girl, & of course, Best Killer Clown, who could've been in another crossover fighter, Terrordrome, if only the creator's Kickstarter for one of his games made 500 backers. Mild sadness that never happened (though a parody might star in TD2 if it's Kickstarter is a success), major thanks for this update. The project's looking all the more polished.
First of all, damn those stages look impressive. I'm so glad I was able to help out on a couple of them. But overall, I'm happy to hear some more news on the game. The switch to Unity has, so far, been very nice to the game, and all the new menus look superb. The hype just gets bigger every day, man. And lastly, while I ain't familiar with any of the new Lawl Demic characters, that's likely not gonna stop from having some more great movesets on the horizon.

Honestly, the only complaint I have is the series icons for your new characters (why not just use the lightbulb from OneShot's title for Niko as well as ballons for Pennywise?)Still, glad to see the game's development process afloat, and the engine switch does look pretty beneficial for the game, so I can't complain about that. Plus, I'm glad I predicted Spartan Pit getting a renovation.
