Only one biggest confusion i have is..
C & K rule is not applicable for the word Kangroo.
So the child have to learn it as it is?

I came across your video the 1st time, very nicely done, thank you mam. 🙏🏻🙂
But I personally feel, English is a very under developed language as compared to Indian languages and scripts... like you said, there are many rule breaker words and grammar that we come across all the time..
And our generation people have learnt English just as a flow, without actually learning any rules, its quite difficult for us to teach our kids with these rule set.
Just felt like sharing here 🙂
I too agree with you. Our languages are transparent and comparatively much easier to learn. The biggest advantage of phonics is that it makes a child an early reader. For the writing part, the child has to depend a lot on memory. But the problem is that most parents do not understand this part. As a result, their expectations increase and in turn, they pressure the kids to be a good reader and equally good writer.

I heard you saying advanced phonics ... It made me confused . So far I knew that 3 sets of pupil book is entire phonics course.pls throw some light what is this advanced phonics and what is app age to teach it.?
The three sets have everything related to phonics. Book one is the basic level, book 2 a level up and book 3 is the advance. Book 3 is for almost class 1 and above kids. People do the mistake of taking all the three sets one after the other without giving a break and without considering the fact whether the kid is receptive for the complex rules or not.
