get hit in the side impact that bar will crumple like a noodle. since your seat belts are connected to that your harness belt they are going to choke you to death.

I’m impressed you were able to do that with a cast on! Would you have to run racing seats to be able to use a 4 point harness with this setup?

The cast couldn't stop me! Racing seats are not required but recommended. The 5-point harness would require a seat with a slot on the bottom cushion, but a 4-point wouldn't require it. - Adam

if you use the harnesses without a HANS your head will fly forward and snap your neck and then the airbag will punch you in the face.
if your just wear your seabelt your body will move forward and the seatbelt stretches and the airbag will act as a cushion for your head.
