I have ridden to Sturgis and many other places, but I quit riding with large groups, really became about them rather than the trip and adventure, I prefer single or one other like minded rider. Just my 2c
Yep, depends on the group. Most of the year, it's just the 3 of us, but for Sturgis we go with our regular group of dudes who all enjoy the journey and go with the flow. Thanks for watching, Michael 🤘
Hi friend, I loved the video, who likes motorcycles and the friendly atmosphere it provides, will always enjoy videos like yours, especially in an incredible scenery like South Dakota in the summer. I appreciate seeing what you eat too, everything is culture. Thanks for sharing, see you next time.
@@2LaneLife Hey, just curious here, I notice Galen riding a Streetglide then later. went to a Roadglide. Which fairing do you like best and why? Thanks for your reply!
@@mikelovestoride3518 He loved the streetglide, but for the long distance riding we do, he prefers the wind coverage and comfort of the road glide fairing 👍
Hey good morning from Austria! I don't know what you are doing different but your vlogs are rhe best of the best!!! !unbelievable!!! And I see a lot of things that I have seen on my rides in the USA. In 2019 I was also in Sturgis. Go on like this!!!! I love you guys
Thanks Gunther. We appreciate to compliment! We try to be real and have some fun as we really enjoy what we do. A comment like yours just validates and inspires us even more! Thank you, thank you!
Great video! I enjoyed the Mexican Hat Part 2 where you ride thru my home county. I spent most of my younger years living in Blanding. My first bike I bought with my summer wages: a new Honda Trail 90. I was 12. I worked for my father in his drilling business. 🌝 Question: when using your phone while riding to record your ride, how do you keep the wind noise from being a distraction? Val Keep up the super work!
Thanks for watching Val, glad you enjoyed it! Definitely not a bad place to be rippin' around on a little trail 90, good times! With the recording, we use GoPros. We each have one GoPro connected to a lavalier mic in our helmet which greatly decreases wind noise and brings out the motor sound pretty well (also allows us to talk while riding). The other GoPros we use are hand held with no external mics and pick up some wind noise at high speeds, but it's usually not much of an issue. The phones definitely do pick up some wind noise that's for sure. Hope that helps!
Dumb question for ya!!!! Since you do a lot of handheld video how to remotely control your Gopro? Do you have a remote attached to the selfie stick? Also, which selfie stick do you use? Thanks for the help and enjoy the video's!!!!
Good question! When we have the GoPros mounted on top of our helmets, we use our phones (mounted on the handlebars), and use the app to start/stop recording or make sure it's recording. When we shoot handheld, we either hold the GoPro with no selfie stick, or use a short 6-7" selfie stick and still use the button on the GoPro to start/stop recording. Hope that helps!
Watching you American riders eat different varieties of food (chicken fried steak ,pizza dang wish I can digest food like that but it goes right thru me) but good for you Gentlemen

@@HardHatDIver412 do you think the guy that died agrees with you! Do you think he would like a do-over? Do you think it would have been the end of the world to cancel the event for one year? Do you think the 60% of the population of Sturgis that didn't want the event held agree with you? You are correct, you can't plastic wrap the country but you can avoid holding super spreader events like Sturgis. They're just fucking motorcycles, for Pete's sake.
