As a very layperson, may I suggest a glossary of terms in the program description? Including sources for us to further educate ourselves would be beneficial and not intrude on the spontaneity of your discussion (or make your episodes longer😂). I very much appreciate the time you take to provide explanations for those of us that are not educated in your fields and all you’ve done to provide me with the information that I need to talk to my friends and “blind them with science”!

Some of us REALLY non-scientists pick up just one new thing. In this case - I never thought about the fact my microbiome has viruses infecting bacteria and fungi and maybe even parasites . And that could be CAUSING my COVID 19 long hauler (( PASC )) still existing gastrointestinal problems !!! And that is very interesting. Might even have picked it up from my flower munching urban deer . I tolerate them - even feed them because they are so fun to have around.. and my grandchildren and great grandchildren NAME the fawns every year.
The battle of virus vs host has been going on inside of you for your entire life, I doubt whether it can be directly implicated in long-haul-gastro issues.
I am a long time viewer recently distracted by urgent personal matters. I hope we can stop the insanity going on with the political situation and the likes of RFK, Jr, who I view as an existential threat to humanity with his insane views on vaccines.
