I have a Novadrum in the same scale, same tuning (432), but the smaller 14" size and with the smooth finish. I know what you mean about the sound - it just seems so "pure", and I can play it softly enough late at night while my wife is sleeping that I don't disturb her. I've never tried recording ...but now that I have the Meinl drum as well I'm thinking of giving it a shot -combining the two as you have so well.
YES! i so agree with you! its SOFT and mellow -yet can be loud if its played that way.Very impressed by this drum. ohhh how are you liking the Ocean Drum?I found another similar...havent got it yet. hahahaha waiting for my new Rav Vast A integral-should be here in a few days!
The wave drum is fascinating ... meditative and mesmerizing. A integral - I'm torn between that and one of the B scales for my next one - B Celtic or B Kurd... (whenever "next" is). I hope yours arrives soon and safely.
@@-Dal You have a tough decision to make hahahaha. I have both the b Kurd (rav) and the b Celtic minor(quint art). Both are great scales. I did a comparison when I reviewed the quint art . The Kurd double ding is a fantastic scale. Good luck
GM!The Novadrum in the video is a D Celtic. The C Golden gate is a fantastic scale. Its underrated in many ways. I have a Rav Vast in that scale. The C Golden Gate is not a scale to play along with most popular music, but for meditation purposes....it's perfect. Its a very uplighting scale.

@@maxandchloemeditation Hi. Do you have a source for the older black rubber ring RAVs? I'm thinking 2016/17 vintage. Thank you.
