Love your makes. I agree it so much fun to make clothes for littles. My 2 year old granddaughter is getting lots of my makes lately. Studio Seren has the most lovely animal dolls and beds. Plus I make so many Jammie’s and dresses. My favorite make that you made last year were definitely the Disney clothes you made . So cute. I just made the Sandhill Sling bag out a thrifted suede leather jacket. Just love it!

Wow - you had a great year in the sewing room!!! It's easy to see why you did not have as many makes for yourself when you have an adorable daughter to dress - and fitting a child is so much easier, I know that for sure. I averaged one thing a month, mostly home dec-type gifts and two items of clothing for myself, Vogue 9258 from a Joann remnant that took all my creativity when I unrolled it and discovered a stain on the fabric, and Simplicity 3012, which turned out so well people thought I bought it at a store. I'm using a Pop cotton jersey black remnant to line the hood of Butterick 6863 right now - those Joann remnants come in handy. A neighbor just asked me to make up 10 bed pillowcase kits for a charity so my next project is waiting...

Enjoyed seeing your favorites. You’ve inspired me to keep better track of what I sew! My favorite makes were the four memory quilts for my sons. I actually started them in 2022, but finished this year and gave at Christmas. They loved them! And I’m relieved they’re done! 😊

Hello Tiffany. Wow! You sew a lot with working full time and also a family to care for. I can remember those days and I had two little girls. Im trying to cut out a knit top for my daughter who lives near us. Hoping I’ll get to this evening. Yesterday am I had my outpatient back procedure but all the relief has left alresdy, as I was told would happen. Today I got a call for the next one,,, March 3. I ask who so many wks between, dr is so busy. Usually or he is but geezers. It’s almost unbearable pain at times but each day I get through it, and I always figure out a way to rest it using the heating pad and rest on sofa. Im hoping I’ll be able to get n sooner, the nurse put my name on the cancellation list, otherwise it will be March, 3 rd. . The second is also a test procedure, but our insurance dictates this way of getting it better. The final procedure or third one, will be the actual “ real deal”. Aka burn off nerves near my spine so they can’t send signals to my brain saying” I hurt.” My back hurts a lot. Ive already had major two surgeries for my back problems during Covid. Two surgeries( abdominal and back) in four days to try and correct my disks in my spine. Buldging and punching nerves and adding replacement parts etc etc. . Couldn’t sit nor stand w o extreme pain. I’ll be patient. And try to keep busy when I can. I know you’ve got cattle for your hubs to feed and water. Be careful in the cold and happy sewing. My Fla daughter only had a high of 56;or so today. She was in her semi puffy coat going to the dentist. I had to give her a little hassle over a coat in Florida. lol. Take care and happy sewing. Nancy from Ft Wayne. Ps my best number of makes was sept for PDAG a girl. Six total but I added laces n buttons n ric rack etc. which that takes more time to sew neatly and im a slow sewer anyway, but all of the dresses turned out so cute and I use French seams too, for more stability.

Loved all your favorites! I need to keep track of all the sewing I do in a year, I think my favorite make was a raincoat for my grandson. It was a challange to make and came out so cute.
