Hi new to the channel😊& I’m very excited to watch. I had a few questions. What is the point of the nail foil glue when the uv resin is going to cure in the same fashion anyway? My next question is would u be open to do some experiments with the cat eye polishes/magnets? I bought a huge kit that has 10 different magnets in the kit & a ton of the specialty polishes that react but I’m overwhelmed by them tbh😂one makes a flower pattern & their all supposed to cause a different special fx. Lastly I bought these kind of nail foils but they’re a halographic pattern & u can’t tell the front from the back once u unroll them, do u have any tips for determining what’s the correct side of the foil so I’m not finding out the hard way…nothing transfers Cz it was the wrong side😢Hope this makes sense😊Thank u so much for sharing u knowledge!!

Hi Allyson I have tried uv resin as a glue before and it does work but not as well as the glue, the glue seems to be sticker. I had to google the cat eye polishes and magnets never heard of them they look cool! The holographic foils can be hard to work out which side up and I’ve learnt the hard way a few times! These days if I’m unsure I’ll cut a small piece off and test on any old resin pieces I have lying around first 😀

@@aussiecrafting7685 Wow I can’t believe u never seen these used, people like Daniel Copper & a few other resin artist have gave it a go. I thought it would have taken off much more but it does require special products & as I mentioned a little intimidating. I was a nail tech back in the day so I’m familiar with a lot of little things that can work in the resin art world but it’s an expensive craft to be wasteful so I tend to wait until I gather the most useful tips b4 I will give it a go! Thank u 4 responding, I appreciate u for taking the time!!

Did the directions say to CYE the foil glue gel with the foil on it? The 1s I have (I do nails 💅) ya cure it then rub the foil until it comes off. I generally get a better transfer that way 😉
This is the first video of yours that I'm watching. So if you've done it my way b4 and it not work for you I'm sorry for butting in your business 🫂

I have a question …. When you put the foil on …you put it under us lamp..did I miss a step where you put up resin on top of the foil?

Once I put the nail foil on over the glue I then put it under the uv lamp to cure the glue for 30sec to a minute. Once that’s cured I peel off the foil sand the edges then put uv resin over top of foil to protect it😀
