This is so stinkin cute. And the look so dimensional and I love that you can write a little msg in each one. The ink on the edges made the solid colors pop. I love it. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love this idea! Your cards are wonderful and you are creating such sweet memories for your kids through them. I'll be picking up the stamp/die sets, so I can begin making my messages of love to give to my little grandson. Thank you so much, Jennifer!
How darling would this be for a child's birthday card? Each envelope could represent a year of their life, and you could put a tiny photo of the child in each envelope (like a picture of them when they were one year old in the first envelope, a picture of them when they were two years old in the second envelope, etc.). Also, it could make a really sweet Advent calendar! You are A-MAZ-ING, Miss Jennifer!
OMG Jennifer how super cute are your little message envelopes.....all of your ideas are so super clever gosh it was fun to watch you create these darling envelopes.....a new version of the "Message in a bottle" idea. Loved your idea too of the jar on the nightstand for holding little messages.....Your video was lots of fun and thanks for sharing your awesome tips, tricks & techniques.....YOU so ROCK!! Joan Smith
Thank you so much for this idea! I don't have any die cutting supplies, but I love origami, so I made several little self-contained origami notes to put on a card for my niece. It worked so nicely, and since she's two and a half, anything for her to manipulate makes a card special. I will definitely be making more of these in the future.
Love your demos but the products sell out so fast!! Great that you always give alternatives. Also love you idea of using a jar!! I used to do quote jars.
That is such a cute idea! I love the die, at first i was a bit shook because of the price (thought it would be about 8€ but its 14€) but its really useful and i have so many ideas!
@IsabelUgalino: Yes, you can find things and make something similar. Look for free envelope templates on the web. There are also stencils which you can draw and cut your own mini envelopes. Use a larger size mini envelope and make less; just one or two. You can go to your local library and look in the craft section for mini envelope templates. Yes, you can make this.
Hi Jennifer ~ This card is absolutely adorable....I'm going to give this a try and see if I can come up with a solution. I don't have that die (can't imagine why I DON'T!!!!) and of course it's on back order everywhere!! As an aside...I can't seem to get an email through to you (Did you block me for stalking your site? LOL); they keep bouncing back. I thought I saw on your site in regards to your #sharehandmadekindness campaign that you had an insert we could print and put in the cards we send/give so that the recipients would then be able to forward the cards to someone else. I should have downloaded it at the time I saw it because now I can't find it anywhere!! Tried a search on your Blog but that came up blank (Did I dream this?). If you could let me know what it is, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks for sharing your talents and your "powers" for good. #sharehandmadekindness
Hi Jennifer ~ I left out the "ink" part, which is why it kept coming back to me. Thanks for your help! Love this project and your inspiration. #sharehandmadekindness
What a cool idea! I can see me doing this for my sister who has just moved from being 10 miles away from me to the other side of the country, we're in the UK so not as far as it would be were we in the States but still too far as I have no transport. I think I could send her little messages every now and then to let her know how much I love and miss her...I wonder if the die is easily available this side of the pond :)Bejay x
That die set is really cute. What a wonderful idea to inspire children and let them know they are loved.
This is so stinkin cute. And the look so dimensional and I love that you can write a little msg in each one. The ink on the edges made the solid colors pop. I love it. Thanks for sharing.
