Went last night, OMFG they were amazing, it made up for my failure of 1980 not getting a ticket to see em, the light show was stunning to watch, it was that good it was surreal! Introducing themselves Phil got the biggest cheer, also he still very much commands the audience, absolutely brilliant!
I saw them on the first night at Birmingham and then last night in Liverpool, Phils voice has improved so much from that first night.....great gig, personally I wished they s play a bit of "suppers ready" but hey you can't have it all !
2021 Genesis and Phil still THE BEST in this world. From Paris, thanks for this video.
We went to the first night Liverpool show they were fantastic Phil's singing was first class and the light show was amazing fab night - i really hope Phil continues to do some sort of music related stuff after this tour ends he is too good to just retire.
youtube doesn't really do the "live" sound any justice, this was an incredible gig last night, the light show, the sound in the arena was of a high quality as was the musicians! I started listening to genesis in 1983 when I was 12! 38 years later i finally get to see them! seen phil as a solo artist live in the past, his physical condition isn't what it was but do not under estimate how good this gig sounded regardless! A dying breed. god bless genesis!
@@markingram2579 So only people who attended this actual concert can submit judgement and critique on what they can see and hear in this video? RUclips clearly needs to include such a clause in their terms and conditions of use....
@@TheVickersDoorter Yes. Because it sounds extremely different when you're actually at the gig. I was there and it was f*cking brilliant - RUclips doesn't do this performance any justice whatsoever.
@@ominous7271 I've seen Genesis live many times since I went to Knebworth in 1978, so I am speaking as fan of 43 years. I'm in complete agreement that it'll 'sound' different live, as opposed to here on YT, but the key dropping is identical in either medium and the result to me is painful to hear. Imagine the Floyd doing Us & Them three semitones down - no, I can't either.

Was there tonight. The lads were brilliant. Well worth the 36 year wait to see 'em.

Sus show eran y son increíbles ; pero verlo así decrepito como dijo Robert Plant ; es hora de dejar . . 🎶🎶 todo tiene su tiempo en esta vida 😔🎶 .
Keyed way down from the original. Sounds awful and flat.
