- We’re finally busy again around our off grid homestead. I’m back in Australia enjoying life in the bush with Clint and the dogs.

The homestead is coming along. Step by step we’re trying to make this place liveable. It’s a fun project but there is still lots to do. I’d love to know: are there any projects you guys are currently working on?

It seems Ive already answered this comment after watching your video! But I also have been filming my progress as I go, but not as good as yours, it's nice to have a record of what you had to do to achieve your goals, each job you get done, is one less job to do, though it does seem at times that your never going to finish! Spent the last 12 months fixing up 2 old Gold mines on our property. Already seeing some nice returns on our investment. But I'm not saying where lol.
Building our house solo from the ground up after moving from W.A. To Tasmania. It definitely has its challenges but I enjoy working on it by myself for the most part. I’ve found a little gold with my 7000 here but it ain’t like W.A.!

Oh my goodness welcome back to Australia your family seems to love to see there Mommy😮 they're giving you all the love bites they don't mean to hurt you there's just excited😮 because they love their mommy😮 but the homestead is looking really good you're doing a lot of work and it's just a matter of time before you're back out there and doing what you do best so it's good hearing from you and seeing you in you and Clint I know you're happy because you're shining with happiness I guess I'll see you on the next one😅

What a tremendous contrast Germany, outback Australia. You are unique Chrissie. Able to readjust and get on with sorting out your property so quickly. Love hearing the warble of the magpies and other bird sounds. I'm a huge fan of yours, respect for living in such a harsh environment with so much enthusiasm, just getting on with whatever comes along, true aussie spirit

I could do without the love bites but it's a good feeling to see that they missed me.
The breed of dog is Blue Heeler, they're terrific cattle dogs, nipping at the heels of cattle to round them up, therefore it's within their nature to nip/bite when they're excited. They're great, loyal dogs.

I reviewed all of your videos thinking something wrong, because I had not seen anything new from your channel. Also, I thought that you had left us a hint of what you were doing in the future, in one of your videos, that somehow I had missed it I'm hoping your family is well back in Germany. I was stationed Wiesbaden, and later Frankfort, Germany back in 1985-1988. I love having you back, just as the dogs showed their excitement, I'm sure Clint was skipping around too. Cheers Clint. With so much to tackle, you also get tons of satisfaction! Take each day as it comes and get as much or as little done as you choose -- we're on 130acres in the SW of WA and find that this approach ensures we don't see this gift as a chore! As you say, there's always things 'to be done!'

It's a great feeling to be back out here, didn't take me long to get used to the peace and quiet again. Been out detecting a few times, it turns out it's taking a little longer to get back into it and onto decent gold but persistence usually pays out 🤞🏻

Recommendation for your lawn project. Get some fertilizer preferably like at 10-10-10 and sprinkle where your grass seed goes, also get some garden gypsum and sprinkle too. Dampen with hose for 2 days then apply your grass seed and rake the seed into the soil. Keep the soil moist for 7-14 days until the seeds sprout then water once evry 3 days.

Looks like you'll get a good handle on it, though.
You gotta keep finding that gold to pay for it.

Good to see you back Krissy! This brings back a few memories for me. I often visit my deceased father's station in the Murchison, and we always carry everything but the kitchen sink when we go there because so many things are just not available locally. Make sure you get plenty of that soft yellow stuff before the summer heat arrives!

Water pipes and you have a good source of water. Next year a root cellar next to kitchen.

iDEA hydroponics it’s a sealed system, to grow your own vegetables. And the high tower will come and with rain catchment, and water tanks near it will work for ground everything in a controlled environment for temperature, winds, dust storms and all.
