Your life is infinitely valuable, Paul. You are full of meaning 💛
Paul you are in tune ( my opinion). Much like myself. I found many years ago, how fires unlock deep personal traits. I would hypothesise that it unlocks our primal selves. Therefore, allowing us to escape the oppression, of our selves which we keep hidden, to comply with social conditioning.
You are welcome to share a fire in our space anytime. And I know Steve and Sarah would feel the same. I send love to and your lovely partner, whom I met at Lavvu. Peace my friend ❤️
I have just subscribed because i would love to hear your stories.. i live on a very lonely farm.. i love it.. brilliant to keep a journal.. many many people out here are your friends❤
Really enjoyed that Paul, really looking forward to where this goes!
Thank you so much for this Paul.
Feeling very disconnected to EVERYTHING at the moment, and it's joyful to hear a fellow campfire lover, speaking authentically
Thank you for taking the time to tune in, I hope there is something in there to help, you are never alone, if I can be of any use just let me know. 💙🤜🏻
Happiness is only real when it's shared buddy, so true. Lovely open, deep and honest video, the magic of fire eh? Really enjoying these, thank you.
Oh and the Geese we're shouting to help them stay in formation I believe. (Unashamedly googled info to help me look intelligent).
Definitely a video that anyone watching can relate to.
Sorry to hear of your troubles, I think talking things through the medium of a fireside chat would be a great thing to see - especially showing how the natural environment benefits us emotionally and socially.
Take care, mate! 👍
Thank you Paul. You’re channel was one of the first bushcraft videos I ever saw. The primitive aspect really intrigued. The universe put you in front of me at a time when I needed the spark you provided to get going on my own journey back to nature and thoughtfulness. Appreciate you Paul.
Ah that's incredibly kind of you and I'm glad I was able to be of some use too you, you and your support helps keep me going so thank you. 💙🔥
The flock is just asking the lead Goosey are they there yet hahahah, as I said before I would deffo be up for a hand pokey tattoo by fire light. I have enjoyed this video so much it was a great watch. this is a great concept for a podcast, we can all be little lost hedgehogs at times.
What a beautiful song. Its sometimes the little things in life that stear us back on track again, be it a hedgehog or a flock of geese passing by. I'm looking forward to joining you by the fire at some point soon. Stay well my friend.
Ah thank you Ed I really appreciate you taking the time to watch, the song definitely 'struck a chord' glad you enjoyed it too, it's pitchin' fits by Drayton Farley
I think you are absolutely right in regards to those encounters being almost nature's way of guiding us on our way.
Take care of yourself brother catch up soon. 💙🔥
Really enjoyed your video.. thank you❤can you possibly get Colin Campbell as a guest… oh please !!!
Love from South Africa.. national passtime sitting round a fire..
Thanks Paul I really liked the video. So much I can take from it. I think as a community the very act of going into a forest and sitting by a fire as we all do, some how highlights the fact we're all self soothing. I think you've captured something here. We all love knives and knots and craft. The real draw is that alone time by the fire, and its a big one in this community.
Thank you brother I appreciate you taking the time to watch, self soothing is a really great way of putting it so thank you for sharing that, catch up with you soon man. 🔥💙🤜🏻
👍
Great start - and so glad you kept things simple and real - very refreshing and great to watch 😉😃 🔥 🔥
Hey Paul, I would love to join you at the fire sometime. I dont live in Scotland but i do come over occasionally (1-4 times a year). Not much on youtube so sending this via facebook as well. In regards to the geese: as far as i know, they're definitely communicating. They're amazing at efficient group flying and constantly communicate to adjust to the winds. We've learned fighterpilot flightpatterns from them.
Thank you brother! 💙🔥🤜🏻
Cool!
Cheers mate, sorry to hear about your troubles, my moto in life is, Dont take stuff too seriously, it all just a learning process, and in the end,it doesn't really matter. ✌️❤️
Hey man thank you for taking the time to listen, and thank you for sharing I think that's something I could do with reminding myself more! Take care of yourself until next time! 😁💙🔥
It's in situations like that I always wonder did you happen to the hedgehog or did he happen to you?
I love the idea of this and would love to do one sometime.
If you'd be up for it I'd love to make that happen! 😁🤜🏻
@paulsmithprimitivebushcraft definitely, getting to Scotland will be a first though. And don't even know when I can make it happen yet.
Always space here for you my man! Just let me know when you are free and we'll make it work! 😁🤜🏻
