Great video as always and I gotta say Midas is one of the best legendary weapons and such a cool idea. Killing to get gold and higher sharpness is so cool. It's only problem to me is that kinda reinforces one Hoplite's major flaws; New player's don't stand much of a chance. And even if they get a good start they usually lose to snowballing bc newer players can't snowball as easily. I've noticed it mostly thanks to my Hypixel Uhc days (gotta say that Hypixel is infinitely more unbalanced than Hoplite fr) but I'll see newer players join lose a ton of games to experienced players and log off the server usually only returning temporarily when a new update drops. And I'm glad Hoplite is constantly working to try and fix this. Making easier to craft legendary weapons and adding bots to ease in new players to pvp. And of course Suppply Drops/Santa's presents. But none of them work; Bots only spawn around stacked players giving them more heads or sometimes behind weaker players (usually cleaning them). Easier to craft legendary weapons are either weaker or just get rushed by the top players. Spawning closer to cornucopia does no good against cheaters who auto-fill and not knowing what's good to grab first. And the supply drops are trash legitimate trash. Never get them. I got 3 diamond swords and a mending book; How tf am I supposed to win? I can't triple-wield like I'm Zoro! And worse: I had a sharp 3 dia swird already. Wtf?! Couldn't of given me gold or maybe a ghead when I had to sacrifice one to get it? I think as soon as Hoplite figures out a way to balance the game while still keeping it fun for new and old players (admittedly an Atlus level task) the server will skyrocket in popularity. I've played with a couple ideas in mind: Have bots obtain uncrafted legendary weapons and die easily to give to a newer player. (Admittedly babying them too much imo) Have unused legendary weapons have a chance to spawn in supply or in chests. (Probably too unbalanced) Or maybe cursed weapons or domething similar? Something like legendary weapons that a beginner could use but wouldn't be as strong as legendarys so pro's wouldn't bother with them? That likely wouldn't work though. Idk honestly and I'd like to hear your thoughts if any and anyone else's actually. Nearing the mid pont of a season we always hear "Hoplite is dying" "This season sucks" "too unbalanced" etc. This is becoming a reoccurring problem that needs a solution. But what is it?
I personally think that Hoplite has gone very far when it comes to balancing the game. Especially when they started to nerf snowballing (e.g. experience bottles, quartz etc.) And although I didn't code the bots myself, I'm pretty sure that the bots spawn randomly against all types of players. Going to your idea in mind, giving bots legendary weapons would not be the smartest idea because it'd just give good players who aren't that stacked yet a higher chance of snowballing. You can always create a suggestion on the hoplite discord if any new features ever come to mind
Here’s the problem: I have 165 stars and the bots are literally yet the opposite of noob friendly. They combo like a lt3 sword and spawn full hp. They have to add levels to the bots like 1-10 so that noobs aren’t fighting a bot that could rank lt4 shieldless uhc

Also 20 gaps 2 g-heads and sharp like 6 the last guy had no chance it might have been possible for him to quick drop you but with prot 4 and g-heads his fate was sealed

@ doesn’t matter if it’s Hoplite or not, it’s good to branch into larger, more open things, like instead of solely focusing Hoplite, branching into Minecraft pvp or building or something in general will attract more viewers, especially with your incredible thumbnails!
