Ok. Let's just be real. Michael has been hitting some dope ass cleans, AJ's growls sounded great, Sky has been getting funky as fuck, Tyler's voice has made me reach nirvana, and Josh is just str8 vibing on every track. Issues just keeps getting better and better and better.
This song came out when I was 15 and was one of my favorite songs off headspace and probably out of Issues’s entire discography. I didn’t understand what police brutality was until eric garner and sandra bland were killed, as I’m a white woman who’s never had a run-in with the cops even in 2020. I was baffled that they could do this because I was raised into thinking cops were sworn in to protect us (as they should be).
Of course, I’m back here after hearing what happened to Ahmaud Arbery (sic?), Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd in 2020. I’m 19, I’ve grown up and this song starts to make more sense. It’s bullshit, and we need justice. This song is so important and is a perfect soundtrack for the movement.
AJ's screams are crispy as fuck.

+baroquefish The drums are replaced with samples to give them some added clarity, but they're triggered to exactly what he played live. But besides that, yeah, it's all just the individual lines from the board produced and mixed to sound perfect for the video. Nothing was re-recorded or anything.
I lost count of how many times I've watched this, the mix sounds absolutely awesome, Issues just gets better and better.
