Michael definitely was one of the best Rock frontmen that ever lived. A true gift from down under. But also, let's show some love to Andrew, Tim, Jon, Gary, and Kirk. INXS as a whole had a great chemistry.
He was iconic! Michael Hutchence was untouchably great in the 80’s! He made our jaws drop with his spectacular performances! And you’re absolutely right! We must give a big credit to the other band members! ❤❤❤❤❤
I agree with you. He was a true star; so beautiful and wild. And he wrote great pop songs too."Everybody's/Down on their knees!/Listen like thieves!..." I've always thought those were great lines.
For me, I always equally focused on each member of INXS as every single member was superb. I found it really hard to listen to them after Hutch passed away, but recently i watched their Wembley 91 gig on ARTE France and suddenly I felt like that 15 year old lad again in 1987. Thank You INXS and In Loving Memory of Michael. ✝️❤️
guy was Morrison ...mixed with Jagger...but then brought his own talents ....guy was and still unmatched as a front man.....saw them Live 3 times...just flawless as a band...better than the LP’s....
This is a truly great LIVE performance! Totally LIVE. No backing tracks. Just a talented band kicking ass. Michael could sing for real. Magnetic presence with animal sexuality.
butternutcrunch Mark of a great band, you can't tell if it's totally live or backing tracks, at first listen, it sounded like it was just Michaels vocal that was live. But no, INXS is just that great.
Mark Acton I'm glad it got you thru. Thank YOU for your service. Truly. Ever listen to 'Richie Kotzen'? I recommend 'Fooled Again & Bad Situation'. Excellent trio. ✌😍
My favorite album of theirs. I started listening when "The One Thing" came out. So sad when he passed 😓. They should be in the Rock and Roll HOF. Such a unique band you could rock out to or dance to. R.I.P. Michael Hutchence 🌌
I was there too and I'm going to have to disagree with you on the fashion part. This gives me chills like peaking into the past of a legend and seeing how brilliant they are before they make it big. This one was so perfect, its obvious here you're looking and someone special with a massive talent. He didnt get amazing after singing pro for a while, he started out amazing and it's shocking looking back, to hear that coming out his mouth so brilliantly and especially at that young of an age. Some take years to find their style or sound. He's gifted for sure.
To nail these lyrics “LIVE”,along with the guys playing this is probably the best song as close as to a recording I’ve ever heard!!! Love watching the Wembley live often😎
This legit sounds like it could be a fresh new single and Michael - as always with his look- is timeless. This bloke was absolutely light years ahead of this Earth, what a performer and a superb tight band. Brilliant. Possibly most underrated rock band of that era.
Great performance! Great jacket... Fantastic! Fellas, take notes! Thank you universe for Michael and INXS, thank you jyounguk for posting this clip, I had not seen before.
One of the best "threesomes" in music, the first 3 tracks of the "Listen Like Thieves" cd..What you Need, Thieves and Kiss The Dirt...cannae beat it!.Played the crap out of this album then and forever more!. Hutch was a great performer, I miss the band and still remember that time fondly at the SECC when he was in a limo and everyone just stopped and stared at him. He looked pretty shy at that reaction, everyone was like.."What?!..but it's..." and food was falling out of people's mouths seeing him and jaws dropped to the floor...not many people can produce that reaction and Hutch was truly one of the greats!.
Jealous only got to see hutch once in '97 at the barras, something else still remember him saying "hey yous need to cool down have some ice" and slaps ice in each our hands, was just something else what a man.
Fuck yeah! "You are all you need...And that is everything......So don't hesitate...There's no time to waste..Just do it for yourself" Such resonating lyrics
Hutch looks smokin hottt🔥in This video‼️. He's a true legend that I think about a lot & all the wonderful music he could of continued......LOVE HIM 4ever‼️😘🎤
He is a beautiful man. The reason people compare him to Mick Jagger and Morrison is because he's gorgeous and his moves are so sinuously sexy. Who could ask for more??
This hit from INXS was heard on the Miami Vice episode, Walk-Alone, which aired on October 17, 1986. Miami Vice will always be one of my all-time favorite shows. It was the first to combine MTV with police action drama. And thanks for posting this. When this aired, I was out at sea (US Navy).
When his daughter was little and she was in a supermarket with Geldof after he had adopted her. INXS came on the music system and she remarked, that was her daddy and told Geldof, he was a better singer than you.. She knew.. :)
Reminds me of my first love , this always seemed to be on the radio in the car . if only I had known how precious those times would be I would have shut them in a trunk and locked it !

Hell of a band, hell of frontman! Few come this close.
Dangerous, very dangerous...it's impossible not to love this man, I think.

@@elizabethhann4028 don't forget Andrew Farriss who writes the music, Michael ads the lyrics...
So true…🥰
haha love it, super dangerous
@@inxs52 very often the lyrics would come first along with the melody, then the music.
What a charismatic performer! Can't believe that he passed away ages ago. Such an accented but natural voice. I surely miss hin!!

When you have the perfect mix of musicians and a perfect voice to top it all off, every thing you produce is gold. Thank you for giving us INXS.

Feel the same!
You are right… I like the idea⚡️⚡️!
A definite Agree,
Saw Jim, Mick, Plant,
Micheal can't be
Touched!
Yes, absobloodylutely. The resemblance, the stage presence is Morrison all over. Cant be denied.
Michal was Unique with "je ne sais quoi"...❤
This still sounds amazing today.

This is more powerful than the recorded version

2019, and I'm still in love with Michael, and their music. Totally underrated. I was lucky enough to see them 3 times.
Very lucky to see them with JD Fortune, too young for Michael gigs. Saluted Kirk and he did the same
Yes u was very lucky, damn this is 1 group I never seen & should have back in late 80ies.. kudos to u ❤️🎶
Was never underrated
Lucky you. I never had the chance.
have u seen this song with paula yates interview at the end. i think he sounds better in that video. the guy had a voice like no other
INXS was truly one of the world's great bands. I still love them a lot.
I listened to this song over and over again on my headset in Afghanistan . Couldn't get enough of Michael Hutchence and Inxs.
Dude no way! Guess what I'm doing right now, haha! Coincidence. INXS has been getting me through my time here.
Mark Acton I'm glad it got you thru. Thank YOU for your service. Truly. Ever listen to 'Richie Kotzen'? I recommend 'Fooled Again & Bad Situation'. Excellent trio. ✌😍
Legend
That's awesome!!!
Ditto !!!
This song had the coolest video clip.
Michael's voice is so silky smooth and perfect! He truly was the greatest frontman to ever grace the stage.
👍💯

R.I.P. Michael Hutchence 🌌
Cannot understand why they are not.
Totally agreed
There's so few people I would label or call a RockStar, Michael Hutchence is one of them and my favorite by far!
This is the Michael and Inxs that I fell for ...hard. I was young and so were they. This was a great time in music and fashion.

Texas girl, you've got another INXS fanatic in TX here :)
Texas Girl Saw them on the "World Party" tour at Texas Stadium in 1990, and they were PHENOMENAL!
They say if you close your eyes, I look just like him. You and I should hook up....
The rehearsals day before his death mickeal look hot
Best ever 37 years
So much power in his voice!!
Power every where hear
It was all in his hands and he was everything all wrapped up in a beautiful package.
Yes, hot. Xo
Hutchence is so underrated! Wish he was still making great records like this.

He would be if Geldof was a MAN.
He was never underrated...
They were never underrated
Well the’re never mentionned in Amy top 100 or top 10 list
So I think the’re underrated
Classic. Real music. Kids today have gotten screwed with mixing and sound machines. A real band playing real music

Michael Hutchence was a tremendous singer and underrated plus I want his jacket really bad.
I loved them from when I was a teenager in the eighties
My dad had all there albums wish Michael was still alive all the good ones die young cant stop listening to INXS

What separates INXS from other rock bands is the lyrics. They are so much better than other rock bands.
And the way they sounded on stage. Inxs sounded unbelievable on stage. Wasn't just the lyrics.
Fuck yeah! "You are all you need...And that is everything......So don't hesitate...There's no time to waste..Just do it for yourself" Such resonating lyrics
Andrew’s compositions are unique and created that distinctive INXS sounds - it was all largely due to Andrew
