  • In this video, I explain the energy class of MCB circuit breaker capacity, in Hindi. Let through energy and electrical rated short-circuit breaking current capacity ( Icn ) of the electrical MCB (miniature circuit breaker) during MCB working in the AC circuit is also explained in this tutorial, in Hindi.
    Further, Prospective short circuit fault current, energy class 3, energy class 2 for C32 MCB, its thermal energy, Its mechanical force due to electromagnetic force is also explained to understand MCB function. Current limiting during a short circuit in AC is also explained. What is the short circuit current? is explained, in Hindi.

      Single phase mey normal condition mey line aur neutral, dono mey equal current hotee hai.

    Sir Namaste, maine apne ghar me 32A Panasonic MCB lagaya hai but It did not trip why,sir?. How would I select Mcb for best protection.The load are enlisted below:-
    1. TV(1)
    2 . 8 LED bulb of 7W
    3. 2 Fan
    4. 1 iron
    5. 1 water motor
    Including these all equipments how much Amp of MCB would be better?

      It will never trip on the existing load. first you check category of MCB like A,B,C or D

      @@ayaanadhikari17 Dear this load is approx 100W only. C catagory MCB will trip between 5-10 times current of its rating. please let me know about your profile. Are you electrical professional? it will help to make understand about tripping characteristic.

The above connection equipments of my home..But anything related to electrical is my passion. I had connected that MCB. But that is not triiping still.I saw videos related to this matter. Again very very thank you sir! . For above equipments which MCB would be better Sir?

      @@ayaanadhikari17 You can use B series or C series of 6A or 10A. means 6A MCB is sufficient for your load.

    1,5 mm का वायर यदि अंडरग्राउंड में 30मीटर लेंथ में डाल गया हो तो मेक्सिमम प्रेक्टिकली कितना लोड ले सकता है।जबकि मेने उसमे 4000वॉट रोज चलते हुए देखा हैं क्या इससे ज़्यादा भी लोड चल सकता हैं यदि हां तो ऐसा क्यों?

    सर, एक घर मे पाँचवि तला मे भोल्टेज बहत कम अाता है, जब कि ग्राउण्ड फ्लोर मे 220 भोल्ट अारहा है लेकिन पाँचवि तला मे सिर्फ 110 भोल्ट हि अारहा है, ये कैसे हुवा,अौर ईसको कैसे ठिक करेँ । कि पाँचवि तला मे भि 220 भोल्ट हि अासके ।प्लिज बताईये सर ।

      Dear Prakash, it is breaking capacity of MCB, up to which it stands. when the short circuit currents exceeds this limit, it may damage.

      Heater is totally a resistive load, so can choose B type.
