    B type 13 sec to trip is a long enough time to ignite something around. I prefer to install a C type because is faster to trip, even the flowing current is a bit higher. Just my personal oppinion, I do not want to start a war here.

    Here i have one question you said that the short circuit current of 10,000 amps it can withstand. Also, u said that C10 can with stand 10amps current. If 30amps above current flows then it will trip. But then what is the use of short circuit ? Short circuit work when it reaches of 10,000amps for 3 sec but in this case if it reaches 30 above amps it will trip right. Then what is the use of this short circuit current rating?

    Hi can you please explain one thing. If for example we have a solar system in which max current that can be supplied to inverter is 15 A and Short circuit current coming from PV panels is 12 A and if we use 20 A circuit breaker, won't the inverter get damaged if current exceeds 15 A and circuit breaker will trip after that?

    Hi, nice video ! Since you are in this field I wanted to ask you a question about UPS in India.
    Is there an UPS, that takes in 220Vac @50Hz and gives 120Vac @60Hz (pure sine wave) ?

    • @hakeemjinna935
      @hakeemjinna935 8 месяцев назад

      From your question you can get the output as 120 V 60 HZ but the UPS functions as a frequency converter because when there is a fault then bypass function is not possible. Battery operation is possible but it depends on the brand if they have the design in it.May be line interactive ups have this function

    • @vigneshb5347
      @vigneshb5347 8 месяцев назад

      @@hakeemjinna935 Line interactive uses Freq fed from the mains, in my case it’s 50Hz.
      I will need something that converts to DC, then back to AC @ 60Hz. But not sure if there is such a device in 1000w-1500w range.
      There are mechanical based device, but for kW range

    why would a c10 MCB would trip if 30 amp is flowing why not 11amp. it doesn't makes sense. c10 is suppose to trip if 10amp exceeds to 10.1 amp. i am confused. and what ive heard and learned from my past experience, if c10 is constantly being used for an appliance which take around or almost 10 amp will eventually fail. so its not preferred to be used for this type of application. always use a MCB which is little higher in amps, like 12 to 16 amps.

    • @TheElectricalGuy
      @TheElectricalGuy  Год назад

      C term is used for how fast the MCB will trip if the current flow 3times 4times more than the current rating of MCB

    • @aurelienritter7259
      @aurelienritter7259 Год назад +2

      I find that very confusing too, i thought a 10A mcb would trip when it gets 11A current, not 30A. It does not make sense to me, sorry
