    Great effort 👍 I may be tempted to try that route one day! Just found you on Zwift so started ‘following’ you. Hope to see you in Zwift world 😉👍

    That's a great effort congratulations. I'm new to indoor training this year and one thing I've found good for 'sweat control' is to use a headband/sweatband plus wristbands. If they get saturated it's easy to swap to fresh ones.

    Done ADZ 16 times now Dave. I find that using the climbing gears is better than the all terrain gears you are using. I have tried going fast rpms 85 150 to 200w and slow rpm 60 150 to 200w gear 18 on all terrain. Best time is 1hr 11 mins. Hardest was at the end of the Uber Pretzel after doing the Epic Kom, Radio Tower and Volcano. It was the hardest ride to date. Coming up to 1 year zwift on the 19th Jan 25. Made some great progress last year. We should schedule a ride together some time. Great effort apart from the towel. lol

      Thanks mate, can you change what gears to use in settings or something?

    Nice work! My strong opinion (not that you asked for it) is that you do some structured workouts and work on raising your cadence to at least 80rpm while climbing. I’m super impressed you were able to grind it out (seated!) the whole way up at sub 60rpm. Clearly, you have strong legs.

      Thank you I appreciate any advice last 2 weeks I’ve been doing some cadence bursts workouts trying to build it up higher, 😊

    Have you tried going up in a lower gear and increasing your RPM?
    To grind up all the way in such a low cadence seems very tough but, everyone has their own style.
    Maybe it’s a person thing but I ride up from anything around 90rpm to 100+
    Well done on the PR 🎉

      Yes thank you appreciate it, I’m working on improving my cadence as it’s low so going to try and do what you say 😊

    Are you using clip in pedals?

    • @LakeDistrictcyclist
      @LakeDistrictcyclist  5 дней назад +1

      Hi yes, get normal pedals with it if want to use them but I like to be clipped in 😊

    You must have some muscular legs cause with your cadence you are pretty much doing weights almost.

      Not sure just find it easier, do need to work on cadence though 😊

      @@LakeDistrictcyclist really all depends, that is quite low but I was corrected in zwift especially as just watts/kg pretty much
