True, true. I grew up speaking two languages: Dutch (first languages) and Polish (second language). My Polish accent is far from perfect but the girl who tried to speak Polish had no Polish accent at all.
I can't speak Polish but I can speak slovak and slovaks can understand quite a bit of polish and I was like... they're the right words... but with a heavy american accent. I honestly think the ukranian girl or one of the czech girls would have done a better job of reading polish off that paper. the polish lady was so bad i wanna cry. And her family shouldnt disown her because its their fault they haven't taught her proper polish pronunciation when she was a child and and had more "flexible" brain. I never understand why they dont teach children two languages at the same time. Bilingualism is the best gift parents can give....
When I was younger I was taught English and Russian at the same time. It confused me to the point to where I was basically mute and wouldn’t want to speak. Now my English is pretty weird (verbally) and I know no Russian.
My family speaks Russian but I was tought Ukrainian at kindergarden, school and most of my friends speak Ukrainian. Well, the result is... basically I can't speak Ukrainian. I understand it, but can barely say a sentence properly.
Yeah I agree, I'm English but my dad is Dutch and he never spoke to me in Dutch, now I can't communicate with my nan or my younger cousins, only with him as a translator which kinda sucks. If he had taught me Dutch I would've been able to get a GCSE in it aswell, but I guess not anymore. Obviously I know some Dutch, but not enough to hold a conversation, which once again sucks, especially when the other foreign kids make fun of me for it. It's humiliating to say Oh yeah, my dad's Dutch. Can I speak it? No.
From experience Its Best to teach the harder language first (polish in this case) then the easier one (english) because teaching a child two lnguages at a time confuses them to the point They Dont speak at All...
Panda Tooner lol that's nice of you. Ironically, I'm actually learning spanish to take as a GCSE instead of Dutch. I don't know how it would work though??

@cutecat maca of course no. Serbian is was under eastern slavic culture. Similar with macedonian, bulgarian and russian. Croatian is similar with western slavic languages slovenian, czech and slovak one

И не такой уж русский язык непохожий на другие славянские языки
In my opinion the sexiest, the most beautiful or worst depends on the mothertongue perceiver/listener of the message, and also on how one is speaking, it's essential. For the Russian ear I liked Croatian the most.
I liked Croatian language the most. Never been in there but I have been in several countries from this video. Liked in Czech Republic the most. Language sounds very difficult but country is beautiful.
Livio Defranza Exactly! All Slavic people are similar in my mind, we all share deep cultural traditions and beautiful languages! After watching this video I'm definitely putting Croatia on my travel bucket list.
Oh... I'm feeling really bad about Ukrainian, because I believe that's one of the most beautiful languages. So my pick is Ukrainian and Croatian. The sounds of the language and voices were just great.
@Сръбска Музика Well, words are accented quite differently between the two so they're not QUITE the same, but definitely lots in common, apart from a large number of vocabulary and syntactic differences, sure :)
@@EvilDragon666 Accent doesn't make it a different language. Call it whatever you want, but differences are so minor, that it can not be said that Serbian and Croatian are different languages.

Interesting for me to see since I'm so used to just my relatives and not really anyone else. And most other people I hear speak similarly
Standard Croatian language is the most similar to serbian language. But Croatia has more than 100 dialects. These dialects are actually Croatian languages. Some of them are soo different that even other Croats do not understand them. Example: ruclips.net/video/bhrR_eKXNb8/видео.html As for english language. English is the same language in every country. Grammer and words are the same. Example of Croatian and Serbian standard: English: I'll throw this cup into the air Croatian: Bacit ću ovu šalicu u zrak Serbian: Ja ću da bacim ovu šolju u vazduh English: I love waves and island life Croatian: Volim valove i otočni život Serbian: Volim talase i život na ostrvu They are not the same languages. We also understand English, but that does not mean that croatian and english are the same languages.

Jin the banana from left I would definetly disagree. To pronounce yes it is the hardest one and maybe the hardest one to understand. If you come from a Slavic country and especially the western slav countries then it is not that hard. For me (I am from Slovakia) Former Yugoslavia languages are the hardest. Especially Slovenian. Croatian is quite doable as well as Serbian. But man Slovenian. And that is the fact that I am not mentioning any of the grammar involved in these languages I am only mentioning the fonetical part of them.
Matej Schwartz The slavic languages that came from south are very beautiful, my favorite is bulgarian and czech. But the ones that came from north are... Ugh (I go to Language College, a programme introduced in 1995 as part of the Specialist Schools Programme in the United Kingdom). Polish people came from northern east, where they are now, was Prussia (RIP lol) and these are known to be more gibberish, although all of the Slavic languages are similar with some words I heard.

Yeah like american and british english and australian the same 90% of words are the same just with another accent
Standard Croatian language is the most similar to serbian language. But Croatia has more than 100 dialects. These dialects are actually Croatian languages. Some of them are soo different that even other Croats do not understand them.
Example: ruclips.net/video/bhrR_eKXNb8/видео.html
As for english language. English is the same language in every country. Grammer and words are the same.
Example of Croatian and Serbian standard:
English: I'll throw this cup into the air
Croatian: Bacit ću ovu šalicu u zrak
Serbian: Ja ću da bacim ovu šolju u vazduh
English: I love waves and island life
Croatian: Volim valove i otočni život
Serbian: Volim talase i život na ostrvu
They are not the same languages.
