There was a guy name Michael Jordan that only played 18 games in his second year. I wonder how he turn out?
REAL BALL KNOWER RIGHT HERE 🔥
@@pnwdevv I like Sharpe but realistically his ceiling is what Zach LaVine is when healthy a borderline top 30 player and legit star but not a superstar or player who will make you a contender. Jalen Green same thing neither of them have the passing upside, physicality or defensive ability to come close to players like Ant Edwards or even Jalen Williams and Scottie Barnes long term
@@bkelly625 Sharpe definitely hasn't shown big flashes of passing upside to that level yet, but has shown the skillset to be able to pass. I wouldn't cap him at LaVine, but I wouldn't argue thats a more realistic comp compared to Booker haha
@@bkelly625 Nah man what I think you meant to say is Zach Lavine is Shaedon's floor. Honestly it's not gonna take much for him to get to that point from where he already is. His ceiling is much higher. But when we talk about ceiling it's potential and he's nowhere near that unrealized potential yet. So only time will tell.
@@pdxgolfpro LaVine 2018-2023 averaged 25.1ppg 4.7reb 4.5ast 48/39/84 shooting splits are you sure that’s his floor and ceiling much higher? I don’t see it
When we drafted Scoot, I felt everyone looked at him as the main future star of the Blazers. I always felt Sharpe still had/has more upside than Scoot + Size.
Excited for both though!
I think people thought(and still think) he has a more likely chance to become a star based on where he was drafted, but as of right now, today, Shaedon has shown a lot more promise. And as you said, has the still and size to be a true problem.
i'm high on shaedon's potential, as well as the blazer's yung core. hopefully they can stay healthy this season
That's that London Ontario talent going crazy, makes me proud asf as a southern Canadian
The amount of research you do for your videos is next level. Keep up the great vids!
I appreciate that a lot bro, thank you! Always trying to improve the content however possible. 🙌🏽
He needs to develop a killer mentality. But right now, he is my favorite current blazer.
100% mentality. Too passive right now
His mentality is there I think though. Just doesn't show it. But yeah seeing that drive and killer instinct more in game would be nice to see
@@pnwdevvthey’re made because he’s not loud and out going lol he’s just about his business
Yeah sure hope Sharpe comes back and can stay healthy cause he’s a fun one to watch. If he gets his defense up to league average or better he could be a serious problem for sure. I’ll never get tired seeing those dunks of his!
Also PG13 said he’s someone to watch after he played against him.
Same, he has all the tools, so hopefully he can put it together. Love the PG comparison 🔥
If SS17 doesn't become the next superstar in the league, I'd settle for a (I give a damn on defense) Shaedon Sharpe.
I agree! 🔥
Finally someone put respect on sharpe im not even a blazer fans but that boy nice
He literally has all of the tools to become a star. Just gotta hope he puts it together 🙏🏽
Shaedon personality is pretty funny. He's just not loud with it.
I agree. Plus I’ve never really understood the whole needing to see his personality in order to think he cares about basketball lol
Nice vid. It’s all or nothing for Sharpe. I can really only see him as a superstar 1st option type player or an underdeveloped defensive liability with freak athleticism. I’m desperately hoping that he’ll bounce back quick from the surgery and Billups will be able to effectively fit him into the roster.
Thank you! I agree, It's still so up in there air rn for him but he has shown all the flashes so hoping this year he puts it together!
As a UK fan, I was so high on SS. He may end up being great but I wish he would have played some college ball.
I agree, but this year for him will be insanely important for both his growth, but also the future outlook on his ceiling as a player
@@pnwdevv yeah this year will most likely determine a rookie extension or not. Several players on the current roster are entering prove it or lose it status this year. Blazers are gonna need more than stats, they will need overall team improvement. If they don't at least make the play-in, I see them moving Simons, Sharpe, and maybe Scoot. Gotta figure out a direction and who fits. Of the 3, I like Sharpe's chances the most. Simon's a weird fit and he might bring the best return. We can't pay all three so someone is going.
Here from a pass first point guard
LETS GOOOOO!
Vince Carter with dreads man let him cook
I don’t know if he actually a superstar but we will def be a 2x All Star at least when he retires, somewhere between Vince and Jason Richardson
YOU KNOW BALL 🔥 I agree with your other comment though, may not be Jordan level but definitely has the potential to be a multi time all star for sure
1k 🏆
Yessir! Glad you're apart of the journey 🔥
He's an inconsistent scorer, and can't defend well, but he's athletic af so maybe he'll be a superstar one day. LOL
He’s not inconsistent, he just got hurt lol
