Oh my God. That shot of Adaiza lake at 1 min. 30 seconds of the mirror view. I guess you earned that view with the 14 mile hike. Lucked out on the weather too.
@@GabriellaViola why don't you try white peak instead for your 14'er. It's right by the bristles cone tree (oldest known tree on earth). The good thing is you drive up to 10,000ft for base camp. Give yourself some time to hike over to the observatory and see how high altitude affects you. The difference would be that white peak is a 15 mile round trip versus Whitney which is about 20ish. If you can accomplish white peak with no issues, you can do Whitney no problem.
I’m happy to hear your toe is on the mend! The fast flowing waterfalls and fall colors were wonderful! Nice sunshine and shadows along the way. I have the Inyo Forest on my wish list for hiking! Thanks for sharing your exciting adventures! Btw, how is your dog doing? 😄👍👍
You have good taste and amazing photography! I just went on a trip to the Eastern Sierras a few months ago and did 4 of these 5 hikes and they were amazing! The only thing that I would add, is that for the Ediza Lake trail, you can also hike up to Iceberg Lake which sits right below the Minarets and is full of icebergs. It is only about 1 extra mile and definitely worth it. Also, for the Little Lakes Valley hike, there is a set of lakes called Treasure Lakes that you can scramble up to if you're feeling adventurous. You can get up to these lakes by scrambling up the boulders on the back side of Gem Lake. It doesn't add much distance, just a little steep so you have to be careful on the boulders.
Thank you so much for the tips! We wanted to Iceberg Lake but my friend has some knee issues, few people we saw at Idiza were heading to Iceberg...But maybe next year 💙💙
Haha my friend was calling it SaBryNa and I was like why does she keep saying it like that??, good to know, and yes it was my first time visiting it and doing that hike this year

Conness lakes most underated on the list. Nice video!
Wow! Stunning! I’ve hiked some of these trails, too, and you’ve absolutely captured their beauty. You’ve got a great eye. Thanks for sharing 🏔️😊

#6 Kearsarge Pass/Onion Valley.
Note that the road from Tioga Road to Saddlebag Lake for the Coness Lake hike is a very bumpy dirt and gravel road for 2+ miles.
yes i mentioned that in my video on Conness Lakes but forgot to mention it here...thank you!
You know what I want 😢
*Sa-Bry-Na, I verified with a local a couple weeks ago and he said Sa-Bree-Na is a sure way to tell the tourists apart.
Haha my friend was calling it SaBryNa and I was like why does she keep saying it like that??, good to know, and yes it was my first time visiting it and doing that hike this year
🧏👍
Are any of those places allow operating drone ?
I'm pretty sure you arent technically allowed at these spots
