What you did to the tach for the rpms to work.. I did an ls swap on mine but I couldn't get the rpm to work like that mine stays in the 500s and barely moves.. would you help me with that
I'll try to help you out but it's been a while since I did this. I believe was able to connect the crankshaft sensor signal from the LS to the tach input signal on my factory guage. The tach signal is a red wire with a white stripe coming from the engine control module in the engine compartment. Locating this wire is much easier if you have the electrical wiring diagram book for the Lexus.
