most of the songs have a switch up in the end. so it's much better to listen to each as a whole. like in "Insomnia," there's an electric guitar solo in the end!

I can't wait to watch all the different reactions to the album and loved hearing yall opinions to the snippets! That said I wanna add a little the "Ariana" sounding songs are not really hers... Ari borrows heavily from past RnB pop superstars (especially brandy,India arie,and Mariah) that's really their sound she's inspired by... now normani said she was and clearly inspired by Janet and brandy this album (one of the songs may or may not have a Little background/vocals surprise as well) 2. Little secrets isn't about being unfaithful on her side... It's about a break up and she hears her ex has moved on but, his new partner is trash talking her, so she's telling her let's not.
Yeah I loooooove ariana but it gets so annoying when people attribute that sound to her when she has the same influences as normani. Black r&b and pop artists from the 90s and 00s. I do wish people would research more on the origin of these sounds, the history of black music and its impact
Love this informative comment! When we brought up Ariana , it was never to say she 'created' the sound or the genre. It just reminded us of some of her music, and since she's active currently, her music is at the forefront of our minds! Definitely not taking anything away from the countless R&B/Pop artists that helped to influence/develop the genre!

Actually, that's not ariana!! That's brandy..... Brandy worked with normani on her harmony in this album. Insomnia kind of connects to the brandy B7 album with borderline.

IT'S A PURE R&B ALBUM.. If you're more into pop you won't really like it. Still,Lights on, Insomnia ft Brandy, Distance, Take my time... hell at this point I love the entire album
