    Hey thanks for showing this. The storm went just north of my location in Punta Gorda. Even though it was cat 4 where I was probably got cat 3 sustained gusting to cat 4. You in Michael probably got cat 4 gusting to cat 5. Big difference. Land friction prevents the wind from being as strong as in the ocean. I did get in the eye but what an ugly eye. It was calm wind but a gray sky.
    But I am not complaining. Just glad that I came out of this unscathed. Next time and that’s a big if I may not be so lucky.

    Just like Charlie in 2004, I was in north fort myers for Charlie, but I was in Arkansas when Ian, crazy how history can repeat it self.

    I was Surprised at the wind we had here in the Panhandle

      I don't know, but I guess there must've been some higher localized winds. I didn't see anything far out of ordinary here.
