Although there are so insanly many things coming from japan right now, this is probably my favourite band. Love these girls
When I look at the number of views on this video, I just despair for the world. Such a great band and still getting better with every album. The world doesn't deserve them.
It put me on despair every time I see that, not only with MM but with every good band coming from Japan, I swear that island has the most exciting musical scene right now!
Sadly there are no big contemporary punk bands, in the west or Japan, for bands like this and some of the other great punky bands to piggyback on the success of as a gateway band. It's not so much that people don't/wouldn't like it, as they just don't know they exist. The metal bands have it slightly easier because there is still a reasonable-sized metal scene.

I really envy Japan's luck with all their amazing bands, they've the most exciting music scene for some time in my opinion...really just for that reason I'd love to live there!

@@pixienay2497 I live in the north-east and get a train down to Huddersfield when they come and play the Parish. Have done it twice now and it's been amazing. First time I took the last train home, second time was a weekend so I booked an airbnb for the night and left in the morning, which I preferred to be honest.

Really cool, simple video, and super catchy song. Love it! The hair cutting parts were a nice touch. Can't decide if i'm more addicted to Be's or Meana's vocals on this! Both are awesome. Can't wait to see you live again \m/\m/

I'm a huge fan of Japanese Rock n Roll bitches {a term of endearment} and these three are right up there with Go!Go! 7188, Glim Spanky and the Teenage Kissers. RIP IT GIRLS! They haven't died, ones getting married, another is playing for another band atm, they recently all meet back up so fingers crossed they are forming back up

The old Music Videos have been removed, they've had a change of image with shorter hair and lighter clothes, the music is also lighter and less punk.
The new album is called "Mutation"

Seen on on Hyper Japan. I thought about buying their album there and having it signed. Kind of regret I didn't, even though this isn't normally my type of music. They sure fit on a stage.

It's a fantastic song, pure Mutant Monster. Singing is awesome, with good clear vocals by both Meana and Be. I wish they would release some lyrics in English. The video is excellent too, I'm really glad they've stepped up the production values ever since 'Abnormal'. Before that the videos seemed amateurish. The last two have been really good. The clear lighting made me realize they are all quite beautiful, I never really knew that... not that it matters so much as the music is amazing. I'm not crazy about the new short hair look and summer dresses but hey, it's hot in Japan. It's a cute look, I'm sure it will grow on me... I'm definitely looking forward to buying the album.
To be fair, the amateur vibes from their older music videos is precisely because they were amateur videos. As in, they did it all themselves. It's definitely nice to see them be able to shoot professional videos, though! I hope we get some better sound and video quality live stuff, as well. It would be lovely!

There is a live DVD out there. It's not playable in the West, but is in other countries. I content myself with the 4 part Nagoya Club youtube videos. But I too would love to get my hands on a good quality recent live video.
