Hi Matthew, Great content and amazing info. I recently bought the basic Weebill S gimbal. I am now trying to figure out what would be the best way to use it at an elevated position (20') to record my daughter's soccer games. I have a DSLR and Canon Vixia HF800. Which camera do you suggest I use? Also, will I need to use a Transmount Wireless Image Transmission Transmitter? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thank you
Hey Hector, first off using the gimbal with the transmission to film Soccer games is a great way to use the gimbal. I did not buy the transmitter when I bought my gimbal so I can not say much about how that would work. Are you planning on putting the gimbal high up where you can not touch the gimbal or are you sitting 20 feet up from the pitch?
@@BrotherBrown Thank you for your prompt reply. Yes, the gimbal will be elevated at 15' - 20', and I will be ground level. Which is why I think I need the Transmitter.
@@hectoralfaro8216 if you are going to have the gimbal that high then you'd need the transmitter. I think it would serve its purpose for what you need. Only two issue is see you having is losing connection at some point during the game and battery life with the transmitter. I can't guarantee based in your situation but I think you could be satisfied with the gimbal and transmitter 👌
@@hectoralfaro8216 I'm not to sure.. What type of recording do you want to do? Id look at your record limits on each device and then decide how much you want to zoom into the field. I wouldn't want to zoom in a lot since you'll get so confused with your surroundings with using the transmission. I'd probably go with the t7. The cam corder would probably be better to hand hold/use with a triood that has a fluid head for close up shots.

I like PV and POV the most!
I just bought weebill s and weebill 3s for my sister thanks a lot the tutorial helps a lot pls what gear do you use in shooting this tutorial ? I love the production please I love to know
Clear. Thanks.
Thank you for the comment T H 👏👊
Hey can you use this one to be able to track yourself like one camera man for be able to make your own videos?
I believe you can, but I have never tried. I might make a video about that because it would be helpful to use that feature if I'm making some films by myself. Is that the deciding factor for you with the Weebill S?
Great tutorial. Thank you very much for
Glad I could help you out Irina!
Thx for this great video!
Thank you bro! Very helpful video! Keep it up and God bless!
I've had my Weebill s for a year now and first now i found that there were more than 2 modes
Well now you know 😊 glad I could help!
@@BrotherBrown thanks!. Have a nice day
Great tutorial
Thanks Soniq, glad I could help you out 👊which mode do you like the most?
@@BrotherBrown still learning how to balance it 😂 but I definitely like the tip on smoothness I'll be using it a lot for my b-roll footage in the studio
@@SoniqSounds glad you enjoyed that tip. Hope you crush it with your B-Roll 👊 also I have a video on how to balance your gimbal I think it would help you.
Please show more in detail. How to get to each mode from step by step. I am learning from basic
Hey Jack, I just made a recent video in more detail on the modes, take a look and let me know if it’s better!
@@BrotherBrown tks will do
Thank you! Very helpful
Glad I could help you out Andrea! I was just using mine today to shoot a commercial shoot. What are you planning on using yours for?
@@BrotherBrown Hey! Hope the commercial shoot went well! I'm gonna use it mostly for dance/performance videos where I need something light ;) love the POV function! Though I got the image transmission combo but I feel I don't need it really o.O might send it backhand get just the basic version.
I like the POV mode as well. It's so basic but so necessary while filking. The transmission is really cool but I don't know if it's needed. I'd like try it out at some point, if you keep it let me know how it is?
@@BrotherBrown Will do! ;)
THIS IS EXCELLENT...THANK YOU! New follower....
I'm glad I could help Helen ☺️ Thanks for the Sub you rock 👊
Do I need to connect my camera to the weebill using the cables? Is it necessary? Thanks 🙏
Hey Cherry, great question. You definitely do not need to. I have not connected my camera to the gimbal yet at this point. I'd like to explore how to use some other features but I haven't gotten to it yet. What are you planning on using the gimbal for? ☺️
@@BrotherBrown Thank you for your response. I'm gonna use it for travel vlogging. I just can't seem to get the modes function right. Do I have to unlock all the axis when starting to use the weebill?
Everything was locked when you set it up right?
@@cherrydadola6485 I have another video which shows how the balance the gimbal and get it up and running. You should check it out and see if that helps ☺️
Thanks!
Hi Matthew,
Great content and amazing info.
@@BrotherBrown Thank you, and as far as camera what do you suggest for recording games the Canon T7 or the Canon Vixia HF800?
@@hectoralfaro8216 I'm not to sure.. What type of recording do you want to do? Id look at your record limits on each device and then decide how much you want to zoom into the field. I wouldn't want to zoom in a lot since you'll get so confused with your surroundings with using the transmission. I'd probably go with the t7. The cam corder would probably be better to hand hold/use with a triood that has a fluid head for close up shots.
Great video thanks!
Glad I could help you out Andres!
