    Great video. Subscribed. I’m a rc airplane pilot and gonna try this for my first heli. Love the beginner videos. Very helpful. If you haven’t made a video on how all the parts are supposed to move when you move a stick that might be a good one. Mine is used so it has a few issues and I’m not always sure how things are supposed to move. The rudder for instance. If I move the stick 1/8 the rudder continuously moves slowly to the direction the stick is pointed. The further you push the stick the faster it moves and when you let go of the stick it hold position instead of returning to neutral.
    Then the ailerons return to center but kinda slow and sluggish.
    Thanks again.

      Thanks, I do have several heli videos here on the channel, I always try to mention before I fly what flight mode I’m in and if I’m flying in high or low rates, that brought up some questions, mainly what high and low rates, aka “duel rates” are and how they effect flight, so I did include in my 230s smart flight and review video a tutorial section in that video, I do discuss what each control does and the difference in throw, high and low rates produce, check that one out when you get a chance, that may be helpful, thanks for watching, fly safe👍

      Here’s one thing you should really consider before you decide to fly the 330s, maybe invest in a flight sim first, RealFlight is a good one to learn with, the 330s is easy to fly, however it’s much larger and a lot more powerful than the 120s and honestly it’s kinda of intimidating even for me, I’m not aware of your skill level, just saying, if your unsure it’s better to wait until your ready and confident, then to rush into it and crash it, just my advice👍

    The Blade 400 3d, it came out of the production line I believe in 2011, I did not find out about the flaws with the gyros/servos,until after I had purchased them, kinda like I leaped before I looked Lol ! It is a CP helicopter pretty nice but way outdated by today's standards.Im gonna make some repairs/ changes since I already have the GY 401 Gyro, and other than the stock servos I have the Hitec 65 MG cyclic servos and the Futaba S9257 tail servos as well, we'll see how they work out.So for now, enjoy your helis until we text again, HAPPY FLYING !

      Yeah I got curious and did some research, those helis are really old I’m kinda amazed you got your hands on those, to be honest there’s probably no way I would be able fly one of those, it takes a lot of skill to fly the older ones, that is a true CP helicopter, you got my respect if you can manage your way around that, I had a older blade 3d heli can’t remember the model and I crashed it before it even got in the air lol, it’s still around here in the garage somewhere in a tin briefcase, its amazing how far we have come in the hobby in such a short time!

      @@rcreviews9894 By the way my name is Melvin, I am from the island of Guam. The first Nitro heli I purchased was back in 1994 at a local hobby shop here called RED BARON. I forget what brand or type of model it was. I hadn't the slightest clue on what controlled what on the transmitter cranked her up and crashed and that was then end of that heli. IN 2008 I picked up the Blade CP-Plus and tried once again to learn how to fly it, after a couple more crashes and repairs, I finally took my friends advice and bought a REAL FLIGHT SIMULATOR I believe it was the G-4.5 sim, learned and understood what the left and right sticks on the transmitter, etc. etc. controlled, got a hang of it and then bought my second nitro powered heli THE THUNDER TIGER RAPTOR 30 V2, man I gotta tell you that heli was majestic in flight she flew like a dream,I mean the servos and gyro worked flawlessly, I was able to set trims, engine idle, and all that to where she was flying smoothly. One day though sometime later, as I was fueling her up for flight I noticed a pinhole leak on the side of the fuel tank but disregarded it, I crank her liftoff to about 15 or 20 feet then all I hear was a whoop and she comes falling to the ground like a rock out of the sky and kablam ! It was all over for her, my ignorance to failing to realize that, that pinhole threw the air to fuel ratio off caused the engine to shut off, man what a disaster that turned out to be Lol ! So I gave up until now, I have found great interest once again and am taking things one step at a time, and I am having a blast for now with the Blade 120 S2, I will eventually get around to changing out the main shaft and GYRO/SERVOS on the Blade 400 3d and give her a go in the near future,well friend take care, happy flying and we'll keep in touch.

      @rcreviews9894  3 года назад +1

      To answer your question yes it can fly longer than 6 minutes if your not doing any hardcore 3d, but I really don’t recommend you fly it to LVC, flying until the battery is completely drained is dangerous especially with the 330s it has carbon fiber blades, I’ve never personally flown it to LVC so I don’t know how much time in total you would get, I know for a fact it will fly longer than 6 minutes though and I don’t know what it would do in that situation it could come down slowly or drop out of the sky either way I would strongly suggest you stay at the 6 minute mark, just to be safe, buy another battery if you want more flight time, I wouldn’t risk crashing it or hurting yourself

    Took my 330s for it's maiden today and im Really unhappy with it, I also have 230s v2 and that flys amazing. So here's whats wrong I can't figure out why I'm getting barely any authority over the cyclic left right backwards and forwards.
    ( in normal mode ) I haven't tried any other modes yet as I'm not good enough, The swash seems to move fine in hold mode, obviously I can't see what it's doing in the air but I'm getting barely any control at all. To be honest it's really annoying as its not exactly a cheap Heli. I took it out earlier for it's maiden like I said and it went up in the air fine a bit shaky on the lift off as normal, then I realised I had little to no movement at all to lean the heli in all directions! Had to land it straight away as the wind started taking it away or it was drifting! I tried again after landing it it started drifting to the right so I went fully left on my cyclic and it was still drifting right! Had enough of the heli already!
    Please somebody help me.. thanks

      Why a 700, Why not a 500, 550, 600? all could easily kill you (if you are stupid enough to think otherwise please never fly near me) any 450 class could severely injure you, the Blade 300CFX did more damage to a person than I have personally witnessed a less than wise rookie pilot made a close pass on a 300cfx and took out the tail sending the 300 into a spin hitting a spotter for the heli pilot in the leg at full head speed (3500+ rpm) I am unclear on the number of sutures but it was several dozen and enough blood to make everyone nauseated. had we not bee < 10min from an emergency room the guy could have bled out... so before you discount the 330s as dangerous remember it is a 450 class machine and the 300CFX is really a 250 class machine..
