Dr. Bossche's latest prediction, mild Omicron + ADE - COVID-19 vaccines update 39

  • New theory of Dr. Bossche explains why the Omicron is surprisingly milder while becoming more infectious which leads him to also predict future outcomes of the pandemic for vaccinated and unvaccinated communities. Central to the new theory is antibody-dependent enhancement and capture of virus by sugar molecules by immune cells. Find out how the Omicron might have become such an unusual variant that rapidly took over the world due to its incredible infectivity while accidentally making the virus less dangerous for the majority of those who become infected.

    If you're going to mention GVDB's willingness to make predictions, it's worth saying that's because he's the one who has been accurate to date; in terms of selection pressure, mechanisms and outcomes.

    • @Memphis2010GFC
      @Memphis2010GFC 5 месяцев назад

      Well GVDB many things wrong. He said the virus would become more virulent - it has become less virulent like all viruses. He said that it would become more transmissible because of vaccinations. Well, he got that wrong too as it was becoming more transmissible before vaccinations occurred.
      The Alpha variant was detected in the UK in September 2020 before mass vaccinations started.
      The Delta variant was detected in India in October 2020 before the mass vaccination program started.
      The Beta variant was detected in South Africa in May 2020. No mass vaccination program then!
      The Gamma variant was Brazil in November 2020. No mass vaccination program then and I could go on!
      In summary, mass vaccination programs are not causing the variants to appear as they “appear” regardless of vaccinations!
      The other thing he gets wrong is he focusses on neutralising antibodies - they are only one part of the immune response from infection / Covid-19 vaccines. Both undergo the cell-mediated response. This acts when the virus gets into the cell (antibodies only act outside cells). Certain cells kill these infected cells preventing replication. That is the major factor in preventing severe illness and death - not the neutralising antibodies!

      @S this is definitely new info he brought forth because it is with regards to the Omicron behaviour which did not exist back then. A year ago, his focus was bit different, attempting to explain the natural progression of the pandemic and how we are mismanaging it with the selected course of action. Back then it was, watch out, we are going to get immune escape variants. Now that they are here, it seems that we have to look at different means of protection than before. So I thought an update was definitely appropriate. For more info, check out our post about his work from a year ago: merogenomics.ca/blog/en/140/Immune-escape-Dr-Geert-Vanden-Bossche-explained

    Well when they started to treat them I said putting them on forced air and shoving tubes down the throat while administering aesthetics and also drugs that inhibit Neuro transmitters to reduce the mucous, will be causing the body to just be pushing all the stuff that's usually spat out with the mucous down to the lungs, and the body can't even fight it in the throat as mucous was pretty much turned off.

    I thought it was the TMPRSS2 protein that "hairpins" the spike protein into the cell? Rather than your explaination of how the virus drags itself into the cell once the top is knocked off the spike protein. This is why anyone taking Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT) medication for diseases such as prostate cancer (ADT blocks TMPRSS2) had a pretty good degree of protection against SARS Cov-2. I saw this first hand in my partner who unvaccinated but on ADT had very mild symptoms when he contracted the virus.

    • @Merogenomics
      @Merogenomics  2 года назад +2

      Both play a role! TMPRSS2 clips the spike so that ACE2 can rip the head off. No TMPRSS, definitely reduced chances of infection (but there are other proteins that can clip it as well)

      In this study, we have investigated the interactions of SARS-CoV-2 S1 RBD to different amyloid forming proteins including Aβ, α-synuclein, tau, prions, and TAR DNA binding protein-43 (TDP-43). We also examine the binding of S1 RBD to heparin and their complex to the different amyloidogenic proteins present in the brain. The insights will help us in understanding the heparin binding induced increase in association of HBPs observed in neurodegeneration and also to prevent future outcomes of neurodegeneration by targeting this association process.
      In summary, the findings reported here support the hypothesis that the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein can interact with heparin binding amyloid forming proteins. Our results indicate stable binding of the S1 protein to these aggregation-prone proteins which might initiates aggregation of brain protein and accelerate neurodegeneration. These findings might explain the possible neurological distresses associated with COVID-19. Therefore, targeting the interaction of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein with the brain proteins might be a suitable way to reduce the aggregation process and thus neurodegeneration in COVID-19 patients.

    But you never discussed how the vaccines contribute to ADE........

    • @Merogenomics
      @Merogenomics  2 года назад +1

      By promoting production of antibodies that lead to ADE. This phenomenon can occur post vaccination or natural infection and will differ in the degree per person, based on their genetics. Because the Omicron has managed to escape so many neutralizing antibodies, it now allows for the facilitating antibodies (those that lead to ADE) to interact with the virus instead. Hope this helps!

    I dont think we need an explanation as to why it became more infectious while less deadly. This is common from an evolutionary standpoint. Infect more hosts in order to survive without killing the host too quickly.
    As far as ADE, it seems like those who got the jab and/or the virus both are getting sicker with random viruses. This could be a result of lockdowns and people staying home though

    I’m so confused.. I’ve been watching Sam Bailey. Why is this so different Sam believes there’s viruses ain’t real. If you have time give her a quick look at her videos.
    You seem very intelligent but so does Sam. I have a totally confused brain. Can you give me some light in how this is happening

    • @Merogenomics
      @Merogenomics  2 года назад

      Because terminology can be confusing! You know how sometimes we have a fight with a loved one, only to come to realization we are actually fighting over something we agree on , but could not communicate it? Language is challenging that way. So one word might mean one thing to me, and it might mean something else to her. And that can create confusion. I am not sure what resources she uses, but this is why I try to stick to science, because despite its limitations, it is still one of the best calibers of attempting to get to the bottom of statistical accuracy of what might be real representation of the world. Emphasis on might ;) I always recommend, take my information with a healthy dose of skepticism precisely because of how imperfect scientific information can be. And if you have totally confused brain, well that's a good thing, no? Because it means you are seeking to try to understand this confusing world in your own terms and that is great!

      Yes, and we do not agree with how science is disseminated by some, albeit the info that we produce interesting compounds related to venom post infection seems legit. While it is not fully understood how these products materialize, part of that answer very well might be a response from perturbed microbiota

    how do I know you are a Doctor. All kinds of people make these claims of lies

    • @Merogenomics
      @Merogenomics  2 года назад +2

      You are right, one does not have to be a doctor to make claims of lies. Try little harder and you'll be able to find out if I'm a doctor or not. As for the claims, you would have to try even harder (read the scientific references provided and find additional ones). So I recommend instead, take it with a healthy dose of skepticism (like one should towards any scientific claims) and add it to your growing pool of knowledge and come to your own conclusions when you feel ready you made a logical thesis for yourself. And while doing this, have fun! Hope this helps!
