Yeah, liking LoL and knowing some of it's lore helps elevate the hype when you're watching it, but it's absolutely not necessary to love this show. Riot did a great job of separating the game from the series. Not many video games are able create stories that are great even if you don't enjoy the game.
@@Cripplified I think the main issue is on the companies that make those video games. They only care for money and hire directors and producers that have nothing to do with the game. Riot made Arcane with Fortiche, an animation studio that worked with them many times and the director and producer of the show are Riot's people too.They know the game, lore, characters. And they did a great job at making it understandable for everyone, LoL's fan or not. Another thing other video games companies don't do.

Arcane's animation is GORGEOUS. It's worth a watch for that alone, but it's also great storytelling, and you do not in any way need to be invested in League of Legends (I know pretty much nothing) to get into it.

Arcane is an instant classic with it's fantastic original animation style, story telling and soundtrack. Truly a masterpiece . Riot has a special department for music arrangements of their products and it slaps every time! As a music lover Arcane is a must! It has so many fantastic songs included - I think you will love it. Especially the enemy song has a special arrangement which is the opening of the show. BTW all scenes from the enemy music video are not a part of the season footage so, other than the fact, that the characters are involved it doesn't spoil too much but rather gives more information on relationships that were not shown in the season. I recomment to see this video again after the first 3 episodes - or latest before episode 7 for best emotional experience. Be prepared to go on an emotional rollercoaster - be kindly reminded that this show is for 16+ viewers and definetly not for kids - for comparison: AOT 1rst season is age restricted 12+. Imagine dragons has done quite some collaboration histroy with Riot so they animated them into the show as a tribute to them - pretty awesome. They even managed to get Sting on the Arcane train to sing a song for them. Even after more than 3 month after the release they manage to hold up a perfect 100% score on rotten tomatos and are nominated for 9 Annie awards of 2022. Maybe, aside from Arcane, you like to react to their music groups like the K/DA kpop songs or True Damage - Giants, which is a rapping song as well. Pentakill is a metal group and released their 3rd album last year. These virtual groups are visually build with skinlines of their characters while real (and some really famous) music artists sing the songs. The worlds songs in general are fire as well - especially "Rise" or "Warriors" --> which is also sung by Imagine Dragons. In general all League stuff is amazing and you definetly don't need to play the game to enjoy it - however, knowing the champions/Lore behind it somehow enriches the expierence even further though ^^ - at least for me. Riot has a certain way to combine awesome music with their animation and story telling- although Arcane takes the cake, their other music videos and cinematics are fire as well and you shouldn't miss out on them. Another pretty awesome is "as we fall" - an artistic telling of the creation of a champion called Varus or: "Amumu - curse of the sad mummy".
Arcane and League of Legends are so far removed from each other you should definitely not let your opinion of the game influence whether you watch it or not. It is hands down the best animated series in recent years, possibly ever, from characters to story to world-building to animation to direction to soundtrack to visual style, everything is crafted flawlessly, it truly is a masterpiece in every way imaginable.
Arcane is an absolute masterpiece. Hating League does nothing for the experience you’ll still love it. It’s attack on titan level for me. Also, yes they do play this song in the show along with loads of other songs that are just as good.
If you want to listen to a truly unique voice then I have two creators here on RUclips that have amazing voices. Malukah has an amazingly calming voice and is my go to when I'm stressed or just want to relax. Rafscrap on the other hand has such a deep, seductive voice that most of her followers call her mommy lol. Would be cool to see you react to some lesser know artists too.

Arcane is incredible. The animation, the music, the plot, everything is amazing. I consider it one of the best series I've ever watched (including all the animated ones) and definitely the best series of 2021. Great job Riot!

Arcane and League of Legends are so far removed from each other you should definitely not let your opinion of the game influence whether you watch it or not.
It is hands down the best animated series in recent years, possibly ever, from characters to story to world-building to animation to direction to soundtrack to visual style, everything is crafted flawlessly, it truly is a masterpiece in every way imaginable.

Arcane is an absolute masterpiece. Hating League does nothing for the experience you’ll still love it. It’s attack on titan level for me. Also, yes they do play this song in the show along with loads of other songs that are just as good.

If you want to listen to a truly unique voice then I have two creators here on RUclips that have amazing voices. Malukah has an amazingly calming voice and is my go to when I'm stressed or just want to relax. Rafscrap on the other hand has such a deep, seductive voice that most of her followers call her mommy lol. Would be cool to see you react to some lesser know artists too.

Arcane is incredible. The animation, the music, the plot, everything is amazing. I consider it one of the best series I've ever watched (including all the animated ones) and definitely the best series of 2021. Great job Riot!
