  • Hi everyone and welcome to my next video on Booloumba Creek, featuring the Booloumba Falls, Booloumba Creek Camping Area 3 & Booloumba Creek Swimming. All 3 areas are available in the Conondale NP, Kenilworth, 2 hours north of Brisbane and in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland.
I actually completed this video over 2 trips ( which you can see in my prior videos). I decided to make a merged video to show you that Booloumba Creek would be a fantastic and easy weekend away with your partner, or the family/ friends.
Details into both the Falls and Camping can be found in the Blogs below:

Ahaaa! That's why there's some repeat clips in this one...thought I was having a deja vu experience and expected a black cat to brush past my leg. ;) Great work, Chris! The Mitsu looks like the way to go. Cheers!

Easy enough to drive in for the day to see the waterfall .. at least thos was what we done on our first visit....the creek is a little harder with only camper parks.
Thanks for watching guys...really appreciate it 👍😁

Another beaut video Chris, lots of helpful info! "Scared the crap out of me" 😂 very Australian 👏👏
I haven't explored that region at all, so I probably should. Hope all is well with Matt and yourself, take care 🙏

Gotta love the Aussie slang hey.... I've been wanting to merge these too video ever since I did the camping in February. My falls visit was 12 months earlier at the same time. I think it helps having all the info there.
You live closer than me so should be easier...if you were only in town for more than 2 secs....haha.

Hi Chris this is an excellent travel guide. We would love to visit Booloumba Creek. Not only is the area beautiful but it has a pretty cool name! The trail, main waterfall and swimming area were all so pretty.
The footage you got of that swimming snake was awesome! (But seeing it would also freak me out 🐍😳😆)

Thanks so much guys - Trying to change things up on my channel and try different things to improve my reach on my channel. Both the waterfall and creek camping has been featured on my channel before, but thought new viewers would benefit from merging the 2 and getting all the info. it's a wonderful area to visit and so much to entertain you for the day or an overnight visit. That snake was pretty cool - You should hear the scream in the original clip hahah

@@AquariusTraveller that is one of the best things to do. We are always looking for ways to improve and eventually that work will pay off right?
haha i am sure the snake reaction in the original audio would be similar to how i would react!

Hearing those forest sounds… so peaceful! I’d love to put up a hammock and just relax or read a book 🎶 your videos have made me realize that if we visit Australia we’ll definitely need to rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle haha cause I don’t wanna miss out on cool spots like this. The waterfall and swimming hole is my type of place!! I love the type of waterfall where you can swim underneath them 👌 the campsites are so affordable!! I’d much rather do that than stay in a hotel lol. I loved your camp setup! Super private and beautiful ❤️ that crystal clear blue water is gorgeous but… snakes?! Eeeek I dunno if I can go in after seeing that 😬

You right...there is a lot of cool places to get to woth a 4wd....but a lot of the country survives travelling without it. We have so much space and so much of the country is untouched or undiscovered. Hence why having a 4wd gets your fit this. I'm in the outback right now and only yesterday was I in a dinosaur museum where bones were found only 15 years ago.... they are still digging them up now.

Camping is Australia's favourite pastime...even more so now with the world shutdown and us Aussies not allowed to leave.
You will find heaps of people caravanning around the place and whole apps and websites dedicated to free camping places.
This was a national park and they are a standard 6.75 per person all over the state. Normally only toilets supplied so you do need to have a lot of gear too
