I visited Jonesborough very briefly back in 2019, when doing research for a - yet to be completed - novel about the murder of Lillie Shaw (the actual trial took place in Jonesborough even if the murder was committed outside Mountain City), but I didn't spend much time in town, as I was also visiting Elizabethton, Mountain City and Trade on the same day, but I have to make up for that on my next visit, hopefully the coming summer if the pandemic allows.

Jonesborough is such a lovely town! I was surprised to see that the population is a little over 5,000 people. I was thinking it was larger since they have a nice size downtown. Really enjoyed the tour of the inn. The parade seemed so authentic to when the town was established. I love how well the town was decorated. Really enjoyed the peek inside the shop that was selling all kinds of Christmas themed items. Merry Christmas Mike & Karen!
