I have been a massive fan of Keaton for a number of years and he is easily one of my greatest inspirations. I have rarely seen videos of him playing live. I think I read somewhere once that he is frightened by audiences, Im not sure. But wow Keaton, you need to play live more and you need to play in Australia. I will pay good money to see this man play in the flesh. The raw emotion you hear in his voice is like no other. The originality and stripped back songs make him so unique. Pure genius!
I've seen Keaton twice, once was in Brighton last October and the second time was at this show. This show was fathoms better, not due to performance as it's Keaton's playing that makes it perfect, every little mistake makes the songs so much more fragile. But the orchestra and Keaton together, they filled the room with sound. It was honestly one of the most beautiful experiences ever.
I honestly can't tell you how many times I've listened to his songs, especially this one (it must be somewhere in the low hundreds), and every single time I discover something more, something beautiful hidden between the notes. Every time. There is just so much to his music, it's like he is breathing it through the headphones or whatever you're using, it goes through your bones. I have fallen in love with the raw emotion that emanates from his music. I would sell my soul to see him perform live..
+Bridger oh yeah when I said "low hundreds" I was just talking about this one song....and that was in October. I'll let you do the math haha 😉 I'm still very much in love with everything this man does, and probably more so every day.. *sigh*
Romane Kriger I just really think "B-Sides and Rarities" had more 'intimate' songs, and that's saying a lot because he's Keaton Henson and all his songs have such strong passion and love. Actually I'm listening to "All things must pass" right now?
I love this. He puts so much emotion into this song that I can't help crying every time I hear it. I'm just so saddened by how Leo wasn't here to listen to this; this would have meant everything to him! How lovely of Keaton to do this for him, such a moving gesture...love and miss you always Leo x
He has this jeff Buckley feel to his music that makes it so sincere like every word is sung with emotion and ment with meaning. Its incredible.

There are quite a few videos of him playing live now. Since the release of Birthdays he's been a lot more confident :)

+Romane Kriger I'm in the thousands. And that's for like 8 of his songs. :/

Romane Kriger Yeah he's amazing. I really like the album B-Sides And Rarities (Especially the song Maps)
+Bridger I couldn't choose a favourite but I really do love Romantic Works and Behaving, because they're so different

I was at this concert. It was so incredible and moving.
I love the fact he is sitting in a chair that looks like it could belong in his home :)
I had to put down my darling dog yesterday, this has been a great comfort, thank you.
