The Knicks were 12- 2 with og and Randle on the floor together. Randle is a 25 and 10 guy nightly. Og can score when needed. Knicks have potentially 4 starters that can avg 20 a game and their bench is leaps and bounds over sixers. The Knicks have way more margain for error bc their team is complete. If these guys in Philly don't mesh and have off years they'll end up behind Milwaukee and Indy.
Brunson is better than any of those 3 right now. He's proven to be a transcendental player in the playoffs, unlike Embiid or Paul George. Embiid is a choker and Paul George couldn't be further from "playoff P" right now. Besides, both guys are often unavailable so there's that. Maxey is the only one who can get close to Brunson at this moment.

Surprised most of these analysts aren't mentioning the Drummond signing. You basically have a starting center serving as a backup that's an elite rebounder. You don't have to play Embiid as many minutes and should pay off towards the seasons end.

The Sixers made some great moves this off season so far, losing Batum hurts but I like what they have done and I really like Nick Nurse as a coach so lets see what happens. I dont have high expectations for this team because something always happens to the Sixers and they fold, but I am still excited.

The Knicks may be a little overrated. Think about it. The only reason they were a 2nd seed in the East was due to key injuries on two teams and the Cavs intentionally throwing their last game of the season. They beat a Sixers team that really wasn't that good and they struggled to win. If the Sixers and Bucks are healthy next season, I wouldn't be surprised if the Knicks are a 4th or 5th seed. Brunson is predictable on offense and the reason why they lost to the Pacers...

Everyone hyping up PG to the sixers as this "missing piece" is hilarious. What winning has PG done in his career. Plus hes been injury prone for the majority of his career and adding that to Embiid never being able to stay healthy. This move doesnt really move the needle to me they are still the 3rd best team in the East as they probably were before the signing.

It 100% moves the needle you’re bugging. George fit will be as good as Jimmy Butler fit was. Harden didn’t fit. Whether it was his own doing, Doc not realizing harden/embiid should just pick and roll teams to death. But George fits better in that he can and has show he’s able to play off other stars. And doesn’t need the ball like Harden. He’s also a better defense. Think about it. Out goes Tobias in comes George. The needle has moved.
You’re spot on with injuries. Not only is every season like holding your breath with embiid. Now you add George who prior to his contract season was just as hurt. As a sixers fan that’s concerning. It’s a 2 year window for sixers to reach ecf in both years. That’s the least they can do. Boston top team in East and a team sixers struggle with matchup wise. Sixers match up vs bucks more so I’d say they are the 2nd best. Based on everyone healthy.
@@skillz78 PG is 34 currently and 99% of athletes don't age like Lebron has in their mid/late 30s. Id still put the knicks ahead of the sixers too I'd go boston 1, Knicks 2, sixers 3. The Bucks have lagged pretty far behind.

I feel like Knicks overachieved. I love the bridges addition. But who is holding down the center position and how does Randle fit in with how the Knicks played on their run? I need to see that for me to say yeah they were the 2nd best team entering the new season.
With the 6ers PG just needs to be a reliable starter level player and guard the opposing team’s top wings. He can do that well… this will help against the Celtics for sure and free up Maxey a bit more to focus on the offensive side.

After getting rid of ihart I know that will have a big effect on them, considering how huge he was for them in the series. I would certainly say the Sixers will have it much easier against them with rebounding even with Josh hart being as good as he is at getting them.

The Knicks won fifty games with three of their best players injured. They added Mikal Bridges to the mix and didn't trade Randle who already showed he could play with OG. I'm sure he'll figure it out. Saw a video with Mitch shooting free throws and looking good. He even lost a few pounds. Healthy they're going to win sixty games. After Maxey, Embiid and Paulie they fall off a cliff. Don't let anyone get injured. Julius, Mitch, Bridges and OG all feel like they have something to prove and they'll all be up for it.
