For me, the tree goes up early December, and then often stays up till the end of January. I've watched a couple of your videos now, and I have to say as someone who struggles with ADHD, I am greatly appreciating how organized you are. As they say, taking notes over here. : ). And yes, no need to compare ourselves to others. You do you and what makes you comfortable and happy. I find putting away the dishes while making my morning coffee is a perfect jump start to my day as my ADHD meds kick in. I get a job done, can tidy/reset the kitchen a bit and then relax with coffee and breakfast till my meds kick in.

I always take down my decoration for xmas suuuuper late, it's just so sad that you look forward to making the place cozy all year and then suddenly you have to take it down! Right now I'm looking for how I can fill up those empty spaces that I want to decorate hehe. This vlog was sooo cozy and nice to watch!!

I missed you! I leave my Christmas deco up until 6th January. Everything feels so bare and cold (ungemütlich) for the first few days. I miss the lights the most. The dish looked very tasty.

I like your decor, the color pallette is perfect. Have you considered putting the potted plant on top of the books for more height? I've seen other decorators on RUclips do that. Good job!

I always love how you decorate! But maybe instead of just nuts on the tabletop, maybe make it a hot cocoa bar! And you can change it out seasonally if you like or keep it neutral!

I feel the same way about unloading the dishwasher. It usually takes me less time than I thought and I feel so accomplished afterwards. If it motivates me to continue cleaning or doing things, great. If not, I still accomplished something! 🎉

In Spain, our Christmas holidays last until January 6th, cause we celebrate The Three Kings Day that day (they left gifts to children the previous night, just like Santa Claus), so we have our Christmas decor up at least until that day. Love your channel :)

I really like how you decorated the sideboard in the dining area - I think I might‘ve tried to flip it (so that the mirror is on the right instead of the left side and so on). That way the height of the mirror actually might add a bit more instead of being hidden behind the dining table lamp from some perspectives! 😊

Just one thing...maybe thats too much 老抽. you could marinate the chicken before cooking, pan fry the chicken with jinger can garlic first, then sizzle the wine in to make it fagrant. use less water but maybe starch to make the sause thicker. Really like your video, hope to see more!
I love your channel so much and you’re so talented to make and build your own furniture and decorations. Although I’m really curious to see how and where you organize your carpentry tools and painting supplies considering that you’re renting? Here in the US, we lack the storage closets in apartments except for the pantry and linen closet if we’re lucky.
I got the same books for decoration also in German, and it's also a challenge to read them, but overall Taschen are really great!

I was surprised to see the notification in my inbox around midnight for me, lol. I took down my Christmas tree either on New Year's Day or the day after. I was ready to get that "real estate" of the floor back, lol. It was also blocking me from getting to one side of my curtains, which had been crooked for weeks and was bothering the heck out of me.

It's from Scentchips, I think it's originally an American brand but it's also available in Europe!
I wish I could keep the Christmas tree for longer, but since I always have a real tree, I have to throw it out at some point. they collect the trees around Jan 10 for recycling (wood chips / compost), and if you miss it, you have to find a place that will take your tree, and bring it yourself, as they can't just go in the bio waste bin
I wish we could have a real tree! But we spent Christmas week at my in-laws so it's doesn't really make sense. But I guess the bright side is that we can keep our fake tree up for as long as we want 😆
