I’m not a mom, I’m 16 and child development, especially potty training is super interesting to me. Thank you Dr.Jazmine for always acknowledging little one’s feelings, as well as your own mental health. You’re the kind of mom I aspire to be! You’re amazing!! ❤️
My son will be 4 in August. He's not interested in going potty standing up and only goes potty with the seat on the toilet while sitting. He also only likes to go number 2 on his little training toilet. When we left for a couple days on vacation he refused to go #2 on the toilet with his seat. He doesn't go independently either. He has to have mom or dad with him when he needs to go all the time. At home he wears training undies and we only use pull ups when we step out of the house and take the foldable seat with us so we can use on the go.I'm worried he won't be able to start preK this year because of this. What can I do?
My three year old daughter she refuse to go to the potty 😿😿 and she’ll be 4 pretty soon What can I do I take her with me and she be like good Job mommy you’re a big girl, then I tell her now is your turn, she will run away 😿 What can I do. 😿
From one mother to another who experienced the same exact thing for over a year... all I can say is continue to be consistent and PATIENT. Last April my daughter was 2 years old I was pregnant with my 4th child due October 2020. I didn't want two kids in diapers so I was adamant about having her potty trained before my son's arrival. I introduced her to the potty shortly after her second birthday and she showed no interest in it. After a few weeks of a struggle I decided to wait until mid summer. Her dad and I would sit her on the potty and she would sit for hours sometimes and nothing whatsoever. The moment she would get up she would soak her pull-up in a matter of minutes. Other times she would refuse all together. She would watch me use bathroom, have her dolls potty and even give me a pull-up after she peed or pooped. Literally a few days after father's day she was sitting on potty and did her business within minutes. She's been going every since. The first two weeks we would ask her several times within the hour and have her sit on potty every hour even if she said no. Ironically she would still pee lol. Now she goes on her own!!! Your daughter will get it. Buy her big girl training panties.
@@TheMomPsychologist she is in pull ups… But When I take the pull ups off and I put her a underwear 🩲 she will not pee until she has pull ups on It could be hours and I don’t think that good Idk 🙁 😩😖☹️
@Medina C I hear your concern but the pull ups are preventing her from learning to go on her own. Definitely check out this video for more help - ruclips.net/video/A3HDgO_4TW0/видео.html I've also written a potty training book that I think you'd find helpful. amzn.to/3yPjgVH
Bit late but i have nearly a 3 yr old who cant exactly talk well yet only says a few words she knows how to use the toilet at home but when we go out ive tried her with just underwear and her way of telling us was to start pulling her underwear down
Potty training my 2 year old and its going well. Today is day 3 and he pooped on the potty finally. Everyday less and less accidents. I am pretty impressed with how well he's doing in 3 days already. Im just worried about going out now since we go out every Sunday almost all day any tips?

I was just gifted this book and I am excited to put it to use.
Ooh, definitely need that portable seat for a road trip I have coming up. Thank you for all the great tips!
Aww you're welcome! Have a fun road trip!
Just what I needed, thank you so much. I loved your potty book, and this is a great bonus toward that end.
Yay!! So glad this video + my book were helpful! Would greatly appreciate a review on Amazon if you have time! Thanks so much for supporting my work!

Hey! I would begin by ditching all pulls ups or diapers/training pants during the day time. You only want to put those on for sleep.
Nice
Thank you!
