OMG I need this video TODAY! Dry all night every night at 25 months, been at this for 6 weeks. But the daytimes are a battle of wills now... He is simply not trained and I need to know what to do. Thank you. There are multiple reasons for his regression. I wish all the parents out there ease and speed in this challenging moment of our lives.

Just saw your comment -- can I ask how things are going now and if there was anything that helped? My son is also regressed and fighting using the potty without an incentive now at 30 months

I LOVE THIS. my son was so gooood in 3 days and then had regression because of me. I was going to the toilet with my son and then I found a coackroch and screamed, and then he was scared to go. But working on it still, he gradually wants to go again now but still having accidents which is okay, I'm still determined 😅

What if all of the reasons you mentioned don't apply to my child? She is almost 3 yrs old, she was potty trained in 2 days a few months back and was flawless with it. She speaks in sentences, and is ahead of all developmental stages, so she is definitely ready. Lately, she has gotten lazy and doesn't want to pee in the potty. She started having so many conscious accidents that we put her back in pull ups, and now she won't use the potty unless she is naked. I can do that when she is home, but what do I do when she is at daycare all week? To clarify, there are no physical, mental, or emotional reasons for the regression.

My daughter has been potty training for about 1 month already and the reason is so she can go to preschool at 2 1/2 but she’s only told me about a handful of times that she needs to use the potty Im nervous she’ll have accidents once she starts school especially because she’s so attached to me. Is there any advice you can give me to help her ?

This is not the most helpful advice. All your suggestions hinge upon the idea that when you remind a child to go potty, or tell them to go during a transition, they just say “ok, sure mom!” Often times regressions are about a lack of will to use the toilet, for whatever reason. How to you convince a kid that they should sit on the toilet if they just don’t feel like it and aren’t interested in trying?
