I think in dynasty you go talent over landing spot. Things change so fast in the NFL. Injuries, trades, coach firings you name it.
Yes but as time goes on, there is more and more talent and depth with these incoming players and they can’t all be good in fantasy. What are we to do?

Disagree. Landing spot is very important in fantasy, especially if you’re competing this season. For example, I watched ppl take QJ cause he’s a “freak athlete” while I smiled and took addison next pick. Addison is a WR2 forever, but he had immediate value and PT
QJ is an argument against your point, people took him because of the “elite” landing spot with herbert, and injury prone wrs

I don’t agree with every single position, but I think these tiers are 100% correct with what we know now. Great tool to figure out what range of picks to trade up or down to try to get your guy
I think Troy Franklin needs to be somewhere on the bottom of both lists
The fact that you said Bowers can help them with the offensive line says a lot, bowers is not an in line TE that can help you on the blocking, he is small, that’s actually something Mayer can do. Bowers is going to be a big slot, so him and Mayer will co exist on the field at the same time

Brian thomas will honestly be the steal of the draft. 217 vacated targets! Lets freaking roll. Pass heavy offense and if trevor is what the comunnity hyped him up to be then youll have a 87-97 catches with 975-1150 6 touchdown season as a rook! IMO he is a similar build to D.K and in a pass heavy offense. Not a 10/10 route runner but sheer physicals traits will take this guy far! I'm taking him at the 1.06 in my draft. Hopefuly his ADP dont rise too much by September.

I hate JJ McCarthy but with KOC as a head coach and the weapons he has I think he should be ahead of Daniels and Maye. Not to mention he can run

@@ktet15 If we’re talking rookie drafts I’d personally rather have him than Burton, Corley, or Adonai Mitchell. I might even stretch as far as saying I like him better than Legette or Wilson. He was ranked 4th in most peoples WR mock draft. I don’t understand if we’re just riding hype trains or what’s going on? For him to go from Top 5 to Top 20 seems like people are riding nothing but a hype train and listening to the media.

@@semaj345 He ranked 6th overall amongst all receivers at the combine. Considering their we're around 34 WR's at the combine, I wouldn't say that's terrible.
Draft capital matters
In my rookie draft I got Nabers at 1.06 and Nix at 1.11 super happy about that
12 team sf
Just finished my rookie draft earlier. Had 1.05 and was going Nabers fell to me. He did as the order went Caleb, MHJ, Daniels, Odunze(guy moved up from 1.06 to 1.04 for Daniels and then missed on him and liked Odunze’s situation better), and I got Nabers at 1.05. I then traded 2.08, 2.10, and 2.11 in draft to get the 1.10 and took Brooks over BTJ because I was stacked at WR and needed a long term young RB with Gibbs and Roschon as my only two young RB’s.
I have Murray Borrow and Jayden Daniels my biggest weakness is TE with having engram and Musgrave. At 1.6 do I take bowers over Maye because of positional need?
I have a Vikings fan who needs a QB in my SF league. Should I bank on him taking McCarthy at the 1.05? He already has both Jefferson and Addison.
Any value bump for Pitts (and London) with the short term production we should see from Kirk and the longer term insurance with Penix in place behind him? 🤔

I have the 1.03 in my rookie draft of a dynasty superflex format and am debating between Jaden Daniels or Malik Nabers. I have Purdy, Lawrence and Levis and Garapolo at qb and Puke, Waddle, Addison Demario Douglas, Dotson and Cedric Tillman at WR. I could probably get Bo Nix or Penix at the 2.03 if I take Nabers. Who would you advise taking?
I've already started one of my rookie drafts yesterday, 12 team SF full PPR TEP, traded up from 2.06 to 2.04 for Bo Nix who was still on the board!! 2.06 & 2025 3rd for Nix & 2025 4th. Very happy 😌

I have the first and 2nd pick in a 1Qb league. Qb: Stroud; Wrs: Jefferson, St.B, and Chase; Rbs: cmc, saqian, achane and Hall. Do I go MHJ and Williams or Nabers. League 8yrs old.
That Penix pick caused a domino effect. That's why the Raiders ended up with Brock. The Raiders needed a QB, but they were all gone, so they took the best available.
Would you ever entertain the idea of moving Herbert for 1.01? Maybe even giving more. I don’t trust Herbert in a Harbaugh run first offense. Thoughts?

10 team PPR super flex. I got Daniels with the 1.03 and i got Penix at 3.08. I was absolutely shocked
I am in a 12 team. I only have baker and Russ… bc everyone snagged qbs hella early. Should I try to trade up to the third pick in the rookie draft and try to get Daniels? Or try to get a vet? I have a lot of rb and wr depth
If you want to make sure your team stays "good" you always take the QB in SF. But if you like to win take Marv. Im not adding a player to my bench (if i already have great QBs) when i could add a player to start

Definitely see him out targeting Ricky and worthy and possibly rome too due to the crowded wr room. Troy is Bo’s guy and the Denver wr room is lacking. Outside of Sutton there’s Mims who has potential but the connection Troy already has with nix would put him over Mims and Tim Patrick and dulcich can’t stay on the field
I recall jordan love going for 3rd round picks or dropped in SF after year 2.

I’m in a 12 team SF best ball format half PPR, start 12. After getting Maye at the 1.05, I now have Herbert, Caleb, Drake, and Bryce Young. Who do I ship off to get more talent on my squad? I’m essentially lacking at every position

Mason I’m surprised you don’t have brooks higher😭(hook em horns) I love the guy and think with the scarcity of the rb market he could definitely go in the late first round. Plus he would be going to a newly formed offense that wants to prioritize the run (the new panthers’ hc said at the combine and now after the draft how important running is and that he wants to run the ball a lot) once brooks gets healthy he’s going to boom! I’ll pick him as high as the 1.08-1.09

Not watched yet so interested to hear your reasoning for Brooks being a tier above Benson. I like Benson the player a lot more, he's healthy and I don't see much difference in the situations.

I don’t have them in separate tiers but I do have brooks over benson. One thing I would say brooks has over benson would be he would get more targets out for he backfield with Bryce young rather than benson with Kyler. I did take benson over brooks in a league I got marv in to stack
I appreciate the hard work and player analysis but my 12 team dynasty auction league with a rookie draft, some longterm contacts, and a salary cap is so different that the rankings aren’t close for my league. Single qb and nobody is taking Caleb ahead of Herbert fir example. Rookie picks seldom go above a second rounder for a quarterback.
Caleb is 1.01 in SF even if you don't need the QB. I was 50/50 when I assumed MHJ was going to chargers or zona. Bears convinced me over this off-season by adding keenan, swift, and drafting odunze. Even little things like adding everett. It's such a fantastic spot for an upside play to land in.
That being said - I'm not calling someone stupid if they went marvin 1.01. Anyone else - yeah I'm saying that lol.
10tm SF start 9. Drafting at the 1.09 and I'm stuck between B. Thomas and X. Worthy. I have Mahomes so i could potentially stack them but Thomas looks like a stud too. Which way do i lean?
Jags just released zay Jones so that’s good for Thomas. But I’d go worthy. Chiefs like this speedy kid. I mean, they traded up to draft him. I assume worthy will have a significant role. Both are fine options, but I lean worthy based on what the chiefs did to acquire him

Being a little nit-picky here but Jordan Love didn't get the starting job until year 3 and he was a 1st rounder. But still, your point stands.

I feel like people are underrating Nabers because of his situation. I think this year he has a 1000 yard season atleast. And then for the years following the Giants will either move on from Daniel jones or if he plays we’ll stick with him. People are acting like Daniel Jones will be his qb forever. When you’re playing dynasty and you have a 21 year old receiver prospect like Nabers, he has so much time to develop and he gives the giants time to find their qb. I also think he might get the saquon treatment this year since the Giants run game isn’t special and neither are there other receivers.
Two 26 1st’s for the 1.02 this year, go get Caleb Williams. Is that too much to ask? Seems like it might be worth it.

I’m new to dynasty so I am a bit confused on why anyone would rank Maye higher than J.J. McCarthy. The situation is so much better and will probably stay better for a while

Because Maye is a waaay better prospect than McCarthy, sometimes landing spots blind people, sometime a great combine blinds people, the tape is the most honest but even that can blind people, anyways Maye also got some rookie sleeper WRs as well. So it’s not the worse situation.

planting my flag on Jermaine Burton now, higgins has 1 year left so it will be chase and burton and he was wayy better than a round 3 talent he's the 4th best receiver in the class talent wise. just no one wanted to draft him because of his character issues. he will be a beast in the league i'm calling it now

I should add that myself and my league mates are all skeptical of Caleb, I don’t wanna be the one with egg on my face if I draft him and he busts
I think you gotta go Caleb there at 1.03 for the ceiling since the rest of those guys you have are never gonna get you to top 5 QB production… Strong set of high floor backend QB1’s and some QB2’s for Superflex, but feels like lower ceilings and you’ve got a chance to draft for talent over need… and then trade some of that depth to go get other help at other positions…

I’m in that position where I have 2 really good QBs already (plus it’s a 10 man league) and I have the 1.01. I am trying HARD to trade down for the 1.02 and 1.08, I could take MHJ and then McCarthy/Bo nix. And then I still have the 2.01 and 2.07 to take Ladd and Adonai hopefully
Way, way too low on bowers. Without position value he’s the #3 most talented player in this draft. Stetson Bennett was his QB for two natties. Truly generational talent

It’s typically only dynasty stuff til around end of summer. Very few redraft drafts happening right now. Meanwhile there’s a ton of dynasty startups and rookie drafts going on right now and that’s for this channel.

Are we afraid for Odunze now that Chicago has the OC from Seattle for JSN's rookie season?? Same situation where he just doesn't get the target share
JSN was averaging 6+ targets per game in his rookie year (give or take), he just wasn't catching the balls as much/doing much atc. That's not the coaches fault. Also, Odunze only eats if Allen stays for only one year. Allen works the slot mostly. I can see Allen being an escape valve for Caleb in panic situations. If Allen leaves Chicago after one year, Odunze might be able to eat off the extra attn that's being put on DJ Moore. Wait & see

4. Malik Nabers (Guy needed QB2 desperately but has 1.10 and is banking on Maye/Daniels falling)
5. Keon Coleman (Another guy who loves the fit, also has Allen, Richardson, and another decent QB) *This guy was new to SF as well*
6. (Me) Brock Bowers
7. (Me) Traded Kelce, Juedy and 1.7 for Pittman and 2.2, guy is either taking Rome Odunze or doing a package deal as we speak for Laporta.
8. Guy has Jackson, Stroud, Purdy, Murray so he doesn’t need QB. He probably takes the 1st RB in Brooks or Benson here
9. Guys going thomas jr if pick 8 doesn’t grab him
10. guy gets Maye or Daniels while getting Nabers at pick 4 and hoping they fall
Please remember in 10 Man SF QB values are still valuable but it’s not hard to get QBs, Stafford and O’connell are in FA for example

makes qb’s more valuable, 1 qb leagues for the most part shove them to the side and make it alot more competitive to snag the other positions while in sf everything is valuable

idk how anyone can watch Mitchell do what he does on the field and then say he's bad because of metrics which miss 99% of every given play and are almost completely affected by external factors like QB, scheme, OC/playcalling.. switch Odunze and Mitchell's situation and their "metrics" would be inverted, but yet they're the same player and talent.. hmm.. he'll be one of top WR's of this class and it's not even close

Mason how come pearsall is going so low everyone cool with grabbing a qb like penix and letting him simmer on your bench but bumps down a first round wr that went to a good team in San Fran, where would he go today if there was no aiyuk/deebo there. San Fran wouldn't have taken him in the first ahead of all those other high caliber wrs just for him to be a role player or return punts

Ya nix will start sooner but if we are talking dynasty. Penix has drafted higher with a better team.

Falcons took Penix because they are going to lose draft picks for tampering with cousins. Thats what they meant by they wont have the opportunity to draft a QB
I don’t understand how anyone can think Penix is gonna have a chance to start in the next two years. How many times in the past 20 years has a team permanently sat a QB they are paying $27.5 million (2025) and $35 million (2026) that also has a no trade clause? Kirk is gonna take up 20% of their entire cap in 2026. Yeah, the Falcons spent soooo much draft capital on Penix but it doesn’t apply here like other does in other situations. All-around weird situation and is bring a lot of weird opinions out of fantasy talking heads.

Drake maye IS NOT in the same tier as nabers and daniels, c’mon now. Hes extremely raw and going to a trash situation. Daniels and nabers will both be round 3 redraft picks and maye will be a late round flier.
In dynasty you draft for talent. Who knows patriots could use a ton of their cap to get weapons/draft a good wr next year?
