  • Geisha, at the most fundamental level, are professional entertainers. They are trained in a variety of Japanese traditional arts, such as dancing, singing, flute, and shamisen (a traditional Japanese three-stringed instrument), as well as the art of hospitality. They also play games and engage in conversation with visitors, all in service of providing the most welcoming and intimate environment possible. Although throughout history there have been cases of geisha engaging in selling their love, it has never been a widely accepted a part of a geisha's traditional role.

He looks like a homeless dude next to them LOL. Also the shouty, toneless narration is very distracting and at odds with the subject matter.

Yea, I feel like it’s quite disrespectful for him to be looking like that while those women look clean , pristine well put together and like works of arts, ugh.

It's a wonderful video, but why did the video editor use vietnamese music in the background? The ensemble of musical instruments is light and airy of vietnamese origin. I'm viet And I know our songs and musics from anywhere.
Japanese music is deep and melodramatic

Just a suggestion, don't dub it next time, the narration is loud, distracting, shouting-type, and makes the video frustrating to watch. As another commenter pointed out, it's terribly at odds with the subject. Please just subtitle it next time! Also, another point: Your thumbnail shows a Kyoto geiko, but this video is about Kanazawa geiko/geisha. :/
