Great looking bike and it looks like it handles Hamsterley's trails really well. Like the power washer. I'm just so frustrated that I can't get back to Hamsterley with this lockdown. I got a new rig three months ago and I still haven't been able to give it a proper run out as where I live is flat!!! Hope to see you and your new bike at Hamsterley soon.
Good idea. But people watching the vids will just see grey frame and then bronze bar. But looking at the bike as a whole. That would look cool matching the suspension and copper cassette. Think if any thing. Black would be best
Welcome aboard, you won't regret buying the Ibis Ripmo, I personally run a Mojo HD4, the DW Link suspension is just a fabulous platform to ride, enjoy my friend.
looks like you`ve been riding it forever the way you ripped round there. i`m really impressed with the audio on the gopro too,it`s so clear with not a hint of wind noise.
Great coverage as usual, love your new bike, those works pressure guns are really great I have a VW Transporter camper so I need to clean the bike before putting it in the van
Nice new bike, I almost went for the Ripmo V2 myself but was struggling to get one, then the new Evil Wreckoning came out and I went for that instead. Very pleased with it, as are you with your Ripmo by the sounds of it. I think some kashima coloured bars would be the finishing touch to a sweet looking ride.
Thanks Matt. So many people have mentioned that colour. Seems a popular choice. I’ve just finished fitting a set of black carbon bars. Thought I’d play it save. At least the bike still stands out with the tan walls. I actually ordered the bike in March. And it arrived in November. Evil wreckoning is a very nice bike. Enjoy!! 😁
@@TrailFinder Defo, think I might go for some tan walls when it’s time to change mine. That’s a long wait, but at least you still had your Scott. I know there are supply problems throughout the bike industry, but I wasn’t getting anywhere with any Ibis dealers. I still had to wait almost three months for the Wreckoning and I’d stupidly sold my old bike, so I had no ride. Anyway, keep up the good work, your videos are super inspirational.
That place looks really really good, loving the new bike too, i might switch to scwalbe tyres, i've heard a lot of good things about them, i like that water filter, very handy, fantastic riding mate, the new bike seemed to be handling very well, that bike washer is ace, great video 😃👍
It’s a great place to ride. You wouldn’t regret switching to schwalbe. Super trail carcass. Hans dampt front and back. Or a Mary up front for winter. Awesome tyres. Used to get a puncher most rides with maxxis. Not had a single one since beginning of 2019!! I hate backpacks so the water filter is great. Used it loads. There is always water sources on my rides The washer is a must. Game changing washing the bike straight after a ride when the mud is still wet Loving the bike. It’s all positive over the Scott apart from it’s just slightly heavier. But getting used to it. My times on Strava for climbs are getting close or sometimes beating the Scott
Lovely bike. Washing them ASAP really does help doesnt it. Takes a few minutes for a rinse down, muck off, post rinse. Let it dry and...jeez, it sets, especially in these knobbly tyres.
Great video mate. Bikes looking good, I dont usually like tan walls but they match your bike really well. Ive been using the Worx Hydroshot for over a year now & love it.
Thanks Steve. I’ve always liked tan on the right bike. Looks a lot better in the flesh than on camera. Loving getting the bike washed right after a ride
If it wasn`t for the Yarkshire accent and the wet trails I`d have sworn I was watching BKXC. Brilliant video, loved every minute. Quality review of the bike as well.. Oh and the colour of the handlebars.......I`m colour blind so it Doesn`t matter to me LOL
Nice to see someone riding Hamsterly as speed for a change. I'm no expert. But I think you could run with slightly lower pressures - say 18 - 20 F and R. I run 17 - 19 and it seems to work for me. I use the same power washer. Good bit of kit.
New bike looks super sick! Surprised you went for a soft compound on the rear tyre? I have the same compound but a tough compound on the back. Just wondered what pressures you are running with those tough enduro style tyres? Fantastic clean look with that frame bag. What did you pay for the frame, if you don't mind saying? Really Great looking bike. Really good to see you have a bell on your bike, trying to encourage all MTB to put bells on their bikes, to try and improve relationship with walkers.
You wouldn’t believe how many walkers thank me for the bell. I ring it a good distance away. Gives them time to sort the dog out etc For some reason schwalbe only do Mary and Betty in super grav on the tans. Have now replaced with hans dampt both ends in super trail tan. Transformed the bike. Both in soft. Again schwalbe only do soft compound in tan. At some point I may go back to black normal tyres. And have all true options. I’ve ended up with 20psi front and 24psi rear. Tyre size 29 x 2.35
Lovely bike, interesting what you're saying about the tyres my goto is minion soft compound front and high roller or dhr back. Might have to try somthing different next time. Personally I think black bars would look better, but the green ones are a bit of a trade mark for you 😀
Since this vid I’ve put hans dampt trail tyres front and rear. A lot better to pedal now. Yeah green bars are my trade mark bars. But may switch to black. I like the unusual hixon all in one bar and stem. Think they would look different on the videos
Loveley bike mate. Were you influenced in any way by BKXC? How about Ti bars for something a little different? You could get Cane Creek EWings cranks to match.

What do you all think to the green handlebars on this new bike. Although they are kind of my trade mark. Was thinking about changing back to black??
Definitely change, nice bars but the colour clashes with the frame
Tires go well with frame but not handlebars
Do Race Face do a bronze bar? Could colour code them with the fork and shock?
