@@bryanprime3438 he did all three of his (at the time) signature moves. Early on he did the tatsumaki senpuu kyaku (spinning kick), shoryuken (dragon punch) after he crouched down and Sagat was airborne (made the chest scar), and finished with hadouken before the logo.
I wonder what started this fight. Did Sagat and Ryu just come upon each other and say “I’m a better fighter then you” or one guy piss the other guy off or something else?

I am 30 now, still waiting for true squeal. If the squeal has same quality I would pay fkin double to watch. But capcom being cheap ass for decades now.
There was kind of a story in the movie, but as kids we wasn't watching it for that, we wanted the one-on-one fights and DAMN it didn't disappoint. Some were a little silly: Blanka Vs Zangief E.Honda Vs Dhalsim, was a whole new world of daftness. BUT... Fei Long Vs Ryu Chun Lee Vs Vega Ryu+Ken Vs Bison, to close were all types of Epic for my little mind.

When I first saw this when the lightning surrounds Ryu and the music gets intense I knew things were about to get serious.
The animation blew my mind back when I was a kid. It was way beyond the level of Disney animation.
