  • We designed this speed bow to be an absolute shooter. The Z1S has a 33” axle to axle which is the sweet spot for this bow - long enough to be stable and forgiving, but short enough to be ideal in all hunting situations. Its S-Type cam generates speed in such a smooth delivery you won’t believe the chronograph. Built on the HBX platform, the S-Type cam draws smooth, is easy to adjust draw length and let-off, and shoots like a dream. Rated at 350 FPS and fully compatible with Hoyt's In-Line Accessory System.

I bought one 9-15-23 this thing is sweet . The draw cycle is smooth which does affect speed but that should be expected. Also it shot bullet holes no shims needed. I'm glad to have done the virtual bow build and bought it .

All flagship bows are awsome in the industry now. The technology has hit a wall and they're all so close in terms of specs and feel that it just comes down to grips and favoritism.

I love hoyt bows but for the love don't call it a speed vow when it's only 6 fps faster than your other bows. If your going to make a speed bow make it 370 fps minimum and 80 lb draw weight for us short guys to get the speed

I'll stick with my 2016 APA King Cobra with 370 IBO and 93 lb draw until something comes along that truly "redefines speed"

What is it like pulling 93# back at range. For 50 arrows. Have to get tried after a few reps.

You have to shoot special arrows to get that fast😂

"Redefines speed"... yet, still slower than the 360 bows of the past from PSE, Mathews, Bowtech...

No disrespect to Hoyt, in my opinion the rubber grip is not good at all. It is also slightly better than Matthews grip, If you don’t believe me take out those rubber grips and holler back at me later.
If your grouping doesn’t excel, work on your technic. Nonetheless you will see an improvement right away. Above all practice as much as you can and that goes out there for anyone.

How can you call it a speed bow when you won't make it in 80 pounds ? 350 isn't "speed". cam and a half were doing 366+ FPS, and they made them in 80 pounds too.
