@Allen Tokyoo The engine failures for the oil ring issue are a concern about longevity. The numbers have to reach a certain point to trigger a recall under warranty. Pretty much standard issues for manufacturers at one time or another. The fires are battery related. Same thing was/is going on with Tesla. No they haven't. I had a 2016 Forte die twice before 52,000 miles. Sure, warranty covered both engines but I spent more time in dealer loaners than I did the actual car itself. I traded it for a 2020 Mazda3 AWD Preferred package. Just the interior quality itself outshines anything in the whole Hyundai/Kia lineup. I have a pure hatred for Kia/Hyundai cars. I genuinely do.
my last 3 new cars all had the same problem. Door sill so high you can't rest your arm on it with the window open. It's almost up to your shoulder. Also, the front seats are so far back the B pillar is right next to your head. Getting in and out is a pain because of that. Checking for traffic before entering on a slight angle sucks, you sometimes have to turn your hard far left and look through the left REAR window to see if traffic is clear.
