Sometimes, just only sometimes, I can sense that a First To Eleven cover is going to be something really special from the opening first two or three notes/drum beats before a single word is sung. This is one of them! I absolutely love Cindy Lauper and y'all are really brave to tackle this song as a cover because Cindy has a unique voice. Fantastic cover - I really love it! Future cover suggestions: "Goonies 'R' good enough" (keeping with the Cindy Lauper theme), "Sweet little mystery" by Wet Wet Wet (following on from the Simple Minds cover, continuing with the Scottish theme), "Somewhere in my heart" by Aztec Camera (also a Scottish rock song), "Hazy shade of winter" as covered by The Bangles.
