RCA studio where he recorder over 200 songs plus country music hall of fame which he was inducted and have his Cadillac and piano on display.

I loved the one with the bead fringes, light blue, turquoise on it, black two piece, snowflake, black with gold, light blue with white cape, royal blue, white pyramid, royal blue-lucky suit, paisley light blue, conquisidor, eagle and Mexican sun-dial. Thanks for this excellent video, such a feast for the eyes 😍 It was fascinating to see the evolution of more complex designs over time, and I was surprised that each suit had a unique belt. He sure was a perfectionist in everything. I also found it interesting that although Elvis had favoured black outfits as a youngster in the '50s and in the '68 Comeback Special, he hardly wore dark colours onstage in the '70s. Perhaps he realised that at night in the huge outdoor venues a dark suit can be easily hidden when he steps away from the spotlight. But no matter what he wore, almost all the jumpsuits became beautiful works of art on him.
I can't imagine how hot he must have been in those heavy jumpsuits underneath the lights! Elvis loved to look his best at all times. The fans loved him, & always will!

Priscilla said that elvis thought his neck was too long and that's why he always turned his collars up. He had been doing this even as a boy. That's we he had high collars on his jumpsuits.
There is also another view by George Klein, who said that Elvis got the idea of turning up his collar from his own idol, James Dean, the original 'Rebel Without a Cause', 1955. (Please see the History Channel's 2006 series, 'Ten days that unexpectedly changed America', Season 1 Episode 5, GK says this in the 16th minute of the video)
I liked the jumpsuits but felt Elvis would change his style before the 80s started imo... Some of my favorite suits are his two piece ones from mid 70s and even ones in 72'..
Vernon kindly loaned Kurt Russell one of Elvis' jumpsuit's for the 1979 tv biopic. Vernon died shortly after, and to my knowledge Russell never returned the suit to Graceland.
