This is one of convoys best upgrades they have come out with. I really hope they come out with more for their other lights. I bought some of the 10a forward switches they sell but I still need to figure out which lights it will fit with modification, I think it will fit some lights with modification to the plastic washer that goes over the switch and possibly might have to shave the actual switch too.
Agreed. I don't know if the threading is unique on other models but I really hope that some other lights like the M21b and M1 will get this too. My "dream" Convoy light right now is M1 host with 3000K SFT40, 8A buck driver and forward clicky.
@@osenmosen I believe that is the problem, the threading varies for different lights. I hear you on the m21b and m1 and even the m2, the m21b is my favorite because it’s still small, it can fit a 22mm driver, and it takes a 21700 cell. I have four m21b flashlights that I always try new emitters and drivers in. My current favorite is probably the sft70 with the new 6v 8a driver but the xhp70.3 hi is now also great with that driver. I just ordered some 6500k xhp50.3 hi emitters and I’m going to try them with the 6v 5a driver that was meant for the xhp70.2, I think the extra current will probably push the 50.3 close to the throw of an sft40. The reason I got 6500k was to get the most performance out to see just how close it can get to the sft40. I know luminous does have a 5000k sft40 but I wonder if they will actually ever release any cct lower than that. When they lower the cct it has less output and then high cri decreases performance more so the 3000k high cri sft40 I’ve seen mentioned will be quite low output.

I went over to aliexpress and it said there was only 5 left in stock when I purchased a few for myself so you might want to hurry if you want some.

I ordered one from Simon and it doesn't quite fit right on the light. It clamps on but not very well. It's like the flashlight host is too big for the clip. I think it was suitable for an s21A.
