Can I get some advice? I have JQ R2 is he worth getting R6 I mean future proof wise. I am not convinced on getting Amir at all because turn count rewards are crap and not worth 240 wish stones in my opinon. Do you think the same on Amir?
Ok get ready for an essay~ As grandpa vivi always say~ and this applies for every single game out there, if an esper can only contribute damage then they are bound to be replaced by newer esper no matter how insanely good he is its just a matter of time so if you plan to play the game for a long time never follow the meta. This is different for F2P and P2W player, if you are P2W obviously you just need to follow the meta and exploit the most out of it and spend everytime new meta come out but for F2P by the time you manage to build the meta a new meta already come out. But dont make this stop you from enjoying the game because if you like it then just go for it thats the whole purpose of "playing games" otherwise you need insane patience like mine and make best use of what the games gives you. Now for jinqiu and amir case they both contribute mostly on damage and only one great utility, jinqiu makes allies hard to kill and amir is immortal himself. But amir is not used only for turn count rewards because in pvp he kills everything EXCEPT defense team. And jinqiu kills ONLY defense team because he is very vulnerable to controllers before R6. So because the current meta is wuyou, jinqiu have higher value and his weakness is gone once he is R6 while amir only hits more often at R6. So both of them don't have any value in pve unless dislyte purposely make a content just to make them shine (like redux). Knowing this, in the future, both of them gonna be useless its just a matter of time with jinqiu lasting longer than amir. But if you can gain ranks using jinqiu or amir in pvp before they become useless then they already gives you return on investment in those times you are exploiting them. So the question is, what % pvp rank are you in now and do you think you can at least gain 2 rewards higher than your current one with R6 jinqiu? if yes then its worth it and just hope that the new meta wont come so soon. I personally never take chances and also it takes me too long to gather nexus since im pure f2p, i dont even get nexus from creating content from dislyte
