That show basically showed the fundamental flaws of the Heaven/Hell concept, with eternal pleasure reducing people to mindless zombies without the presence of something to end it all or eternal torture just sucking for the torturer and torturee as both go through the Sisyphean motions of suffering, as stated by some of the demons themselves, and that people don't deserve to be stuck in either side forever. And even IF boredom did exist to the lones you interpolate. That doesn’t neccessarily mean that Heaven IS a place that Boredom or negative emotions can thrive. Especially since the Garden of Eden ultimately was still on Earth while the New Heaven and Earth is self explanatory.

Even Revelations agrees on me that it's not explicitely stated that boredom cannot exist, nor that the new heaven and new earth will be unlike the garden.
It only says that death and pain cannot exist as they passed away, the exact same state that in the garden, where death and pain were born the moment Eve sinned, or I guess the snake.

I don't want to be that "uhm actually 🤓" guy, but the argument of "Heaven being boring because you can do anything" is flawed & jusy incorrect. Based on Islam/Christianity (probably the most popular religions), Heaven is just pure happiness, there is an absence of negative emotions. You can't get angry, sad, depressed or any negative emotions, you are infinitely happy. It's a bit complex because it is indeed a realm beyond this universe.
Well, it is an interesting concept but it is not real. I just can not umderstand how people cant comprehend the concept of death, how cant they jist understand that its like sleeping, but forever and not dreaming (sort of). Why do humans like to make up bullshit for something thats as simple as death?

Pain, hunger, anger, boredom, and all other negative emotions are weaknesses of the flesh. In heaven, where it’s only your soul, you feel none of these things and as such it will be pure bliss

For ghosts, it depends on if you’re an observer or if it’s ghostbusters.
Being able to mess around is fun, and you could treat it as eternal life but not really. You could pretty much run a business forever or even get to see the future once enough time has passed. Plus it’s usually said to be temporary, until you finish your unfinished business (would be great if you knew what it was huh)
Of course, observer, invisible, and can‘t interact is a nightmare.
