Downloaded them all today. Your ranking is spot on. SI isn't just the best in this set, it's probably the best that ALP offers. (I'm playing the other tables in alphabetical order and have only gotten to the Ms.) Front Line is good for expressing the original theme and good use of sound. Anyone who's on the fence about buying this set should just check out this video!
Thank you Lowell! I agree, SI is just an amazing table, I've been playing it more than any other table on the ALP (and FX3 too for that matter). Truly an awesome and challenging table.
Absolutely love Space Invaders, the rest are great too but just can't get over SI! It's so addictive and tough. Hope this video gave you a good idea of how the tables play. See ya on the Leaderboard tomorrow 👍 Won't take much to beat me.
Taito really dropped the ball with the music. Instead of using tracks that fit the theme and sounds, they went with generic filler. These games would be a lot funner with propper music.
I bought this volume one on Friday and they sent me a code but I just realized I went on my pinball machine and I downloaded it but I did not put in the code do you think I’m gonna get charged twice I forgot to put my code in and it still downloaded volume one ??
I don't think you'll get charged twice, double-check your statement to be sure. A new digital locker option was added to allow applying the key without having to type it in. I've not yet received a key this way, but my understanding is it gets delivered right to your machine now.
Get the pack and they give you 50% off volumes 2 and 3 when released. It's going to be worth it even if you don't play the other tables, considering the next 2 volumes might include just as great masterpieces as SI. That offer ends today btw
Wow... I just bought this pack a few weeks back. Darius, Rastan Saga and Frontline are all different tables than what I've seen here. Did they update the tables? And if they did, did the tables change for those that had these versions?
I can see why SI is your favorite! Innovative integration of the theme and gameplay. Is there some consistent box art style to distinguish the Taito tables from those by Zacsaria and Gottlieb? Thanks for the preview!
Thank you Lowell, in each of the table game-play segments I show the actual boxart in the lower-left. That's basically what you'll see in the table list. They don't stand out differently than the Zaccaria tables too much. Here's a tip though: In the table selection, move the cursor onto any table. Press the Guide/Menu button. On the left-hand side select "Magic Pixel". From there, only Magic Pixel tables will show up (including these). You can also change it for Zaccaria tables as well. I have more here, if needed: wagnerstechtalk.com/alp/#Operation
I was never huge into SI either, I mean sure I played it at the Arcade and on the Atari 2600 as a kid but never obsessed over the game. The way it was implemented on the ALP is absolutely brilliant. It's a totally different experience yet true to the theme. Being that it's exclusive, it may also be one of those killer-games. The one that is so great people will buy the machine just to play this game. Time will tell.
Is anybody having low volume problems with this table? I’ve tried adjusting the table down to 0 & then raising the game volume from 50 to 100.. but it’s still low
@@WagnersTechTalk thx one more question. I am getting my table in a few days and the store has what looks like regular packs and universal packs. Both have the same description and say it can be played on all legends machines if attached to your account or just one machine but allows offline play . I want that one . What’s the difference between these packs ? Thx
they are not fun, next batch will be no fun. subpar and its obvious looking at the pictures. this is what they came up with? hope you are being honest when you play the next ones.
You'll get out of it what you put into them. They are fun imo, I play Front Line the most (SI I have not mastered). I've learned a few tricks since this video for Front Line that I didn't know when I made this video. Examples: Left-flipper allow the ball to roll half-way down the flipper, hit it hard and you'll get a loop. Right flipper, barely let the ball roll, hit it hard you'll get another loop. Get 5 loops and then hit the red light on the right, score as many points as you can on this ball when it's out you won't lose a ball. That is, unless you TILT. Tilt will ruin all the hard work getting the ball save.. So yeah, I play it on the ALP and on the ALU (mostly on the ALP). The first two tables shown in this video, I don't play that much but definitely the last 2. The way I ranked these tables and the way I feel about them hasn't changed and yes I do enjoy and play them frequently 👍😎
@@WagnersTechTalk copy that. Sorry for sounding a bit harsh, just a little bit disappointed with what they came up with. Thanks for the Front Line tips, might have to give it another go. :)
No problem, I understand and it's good to question stuff you see on-line. I always try to be honest about everything I talk about. There have been products I've received for review that I just flat out said no (they weren't worth anyone's time). These tables I do find very fun, especially SI and Front Line. The other two tables I may find just as fun if I dedicated the time to really learn them.
Now this is a proper demonstration of the TAITO tables. Well done and thank you mate. The display the presentation all first cabin again well done...
Many thanks!
I really enjoy your videos. Always informative and fun. These tables are amazing! Thanks!
Awesome, thank you for watching! Really enjoying these new tables too, in fact headed over there now :)

Nice review!! Love these pinball games!!
Thank you Sir, me too! Space Invaders is just so different from every other pinball table I've ever played, really love it.
Really look forward to picking these up tomorrow.

They are fun tables..I actually am enjoying them more then I thought I would
Ugh that Zaccaria euro-synth! I can't. I'll be muting the music and blasting the original arcade theme songs on my modded A1Up.
Taito really dropped the ball with the music. Instead of using tracks that fit the theme and sounds, they went with generic filler. These games would be a lot funner with propper music.
Thank you for your feedback!

Great video and showcasing and agreed about music :)
Awesome, thank you so much Mr. Hsiung!
Wish I could buy just the space invaders table.

Yes indeed, they updated them after this video was released 😬
Anyone ever have one of their tables crash and exit to the main menu? Happened to me last night playing Space Invaders.
I've had that happen once or twice, yes. It's extremely rare.
I can see why SI is your favorite! Innovative integration of the theme and gameplay.

@@WagnersTechTalk That's a good tip. I'll try it.
Space Invaders is the best!!! Never liked the arcade game, but the pinball table rocks!!!

Please see bullet #1 here and let me know if it helps: wagnerstechtalk.com/alp/#Troubleshooting
How do the local high scores show ?
When in a game, press the menu button, select leaderboards. You'll see local and global high scores there.
@@WagnersTechTalk can you see them when not in a game ? Like if that game is on display mode ?
You can view them from your cellphone/PC here: www.atgames.net/leaderboards/titles?rule=AND
@@WagnersTechTalk thx but you. An view the local leaderboards on the cab anytime right ? Not just during gameplay ?

are these cloud or do they play from the local hardware? looks awesome.
You download the pack and they play locally on the AtGames Legends Pinball machine itself (not on the cloud).
Very cool!
Thank you my friend! Hope you're doing well Lance.
