I have bought the mustool x1 pocket 6000 which is 5$ more in price but can measure DC current as well up to 600A. Maybe you want to have a look at it at banggood.

It's not a bad meter - I reviewed this one a couple months back and it's quite accurate for what it costs.

Shame it doesn't have dca hall sensor but 21 clams :) What are the odds it comes anywhere close to CATIII

CAT II maybe, I would not want to use it above that

They also do a version that can clamp both AC and DC.
I've tested mine up to 75Amps DC and 100 Amps AC. It compared well in accuracy against a much more expensive Fluke on both.

@@pileofstuff I have a HT206D review coming up soon, this has DC upto 600A as well as AC and many more features, still only about 50USD
What your paying for on many of the more expensive meters is proven CAT ratings and reliability as well as CE and UL certifications, these are also designed to protect you as the operator , see some of my videos from a few years ago were i put some Agilent meters through their paces

      @@TheBreadboardca Exactly.
As you said in the video, these cheap meters aren't intended for professional use.
That aside, it is impressive the accuracy they can achieve these days at such a low cost. Even a few years ago I doubt it would have been possible.

Em AC todos medem bem, mas o mais importante você não fez o teste, DC.

You think I can do a peresidic drew test on that for checking low amp milvolt. It says only AC but dose that matter for using the clamp on Amp.

Unfortunatly yes it matters, the AC measurement is done with a current transformer, for DC a Hall effect transducer is used, this wont measure DC current via the clamp.

@@TheBreadboardca ok thanks for clearing it up
